Lillian carefully listened to Jane, listening to all the drama in her good friends life. "I for one think they suck and I feel it's my duty as your friend to tell you to not care what other people think." she replied. Wow, what a hipocrit. I mean Lilly was the one who was all materialistic and she was the one whose life practically revolved in fitting in with the IN crowd. She didn't so much as buy a pair of socks without asking someone how they looked on her. She was fully incapable of making decisions by herself. But hey, what do you expect from a model of her standards? "Hey there." Lillian replied to David, "So nice to see you again." she played nice.

Gabriella meanwhile had her hands full with nursing her poor Justin back to health. She stroked his hair, "You know baby, life has been kicking you in the butt, something really good must be coming your way." she hinted. Can you tell she wanted to set their wedding date? But she new he was a man, and men had to be manpulated into things, you can't play coy with them, they just don't get the message. "Like, oh let's say...a wedding?" she continued, attempting to make it clear to Justin.

" So nice to see you again too. " Derek said. It sounded like Lillian didn't mean it, but who knows, maybe she did. Derek couldn't predict the future.

"Ughh. I care what Blake thinks. He's so great. But his sisters are the worst. I haven't done anything to them at all besides be nice. Well, for the most part." Jane replied. "Why can't anything ever be good in my life. This sucks." she said, putting her head into her hands. She was having a mini-crisis. Derek showed up next to them. "Heyy Derek. I'm Jane. I don't think we've met before. But anyway Hi." she said, non-enthusiastically.

"I miss them." he said thinking more about the littlest one, Ally who was eight. He smiled back at May. "Four out of my five family members at least miss me. Probably not my father." he said, chuckling.

Derek has heard of Jane, but never met her. " Hey. How are you? " Derek said trying to be as friendly as Derek could be.

May nodded, "Should I or shouldn't I ask?" she said putting the napkin and pen down. She looked at David and lifted her legs onto her chair and wrapped her arms around them.

"Well, its good you care about Blake since you are engaged." she replied, lowering her voice when she said engaged, she knew it was a secret and it would be kept for the most part, of course she would tell Gaby though. Lillian smiled at Blake and then looked at David, two cute guys, both seemed intrested with her, who to pick? Her heart spoke Jack but her reality chose David.

Gabriella stood up and returned with an ice pack for Justins head.

Derek had been thinking of asking Lillian to the Banquet, but she didn't seem interested. Which was too bad, because she was the only girl he REALLY around thid new place. He always had next year, that is, if she's single.

"Yeah, but after what happened, I really want to beat the cr** out of both of his sisters. But he won't let me, or marry me if I did." she told Lillian. Gosh, this was out of hand. How did Blake end up in a family of complete meanies? She tunred to Derek. "Uggh. Mini-crisis. Long story." she said, slouching.

"You may ask if you'd like. I doesn't matter to me." he said, chuckling more at the girl. He didn't mind telling people about the mishap with his father.

Derek nodded. " I get it. " He told Jane. Did Lillian just think of him as a friend? Probably.

Gabby was just sitting down. She didn't want to interfear in anyone's conversation.

Lillian was manipulative, she liked both guys and she only kissed one. Although there was no fireworks, it was still a nice kiss. At this point, being single at the banquet with two guys in front of her, she wouldn't mind either of them Which ever guy got the balls to ask her out first would be the winner until he messed up, which she knew with these guys, would probrably not happened. She did like them both, but then again, she never knew what she wanted.

Gabriella joined Lillian and Jane's conversation, not helping but to easedrop since her and Justin were sitting at a table just across from theirs. "Jane, it seems to me that you should calmly confront his sisters. Everyone makes mistakes but if it's meant to be, then I'm sure everything will be alright." Gaby could give heart felt advice since Gabys been in Jane's situation, that and the fact that they were both engaged. "Congrats by the way." she whispered before looking back to check on Justin. Her poor baby pie.

He felt it was the right time to give her a rose. Derek had a very small rose at the table with Gabby. It was the right time to ask. He walked over, smiled at her, and grabbed the rose. He walked up to Lillian. he was ready. He smiled and said, " Lillian, would you like to go to the banquet with me? " He asked, handing the red rose to her.

"Thanks for the advice Gaby. It's just that I've tried, well sorta, but they don't want anything to do with me." she said, chuckling to herself that Gaby had eavesdropped a bit. "I hope it's meant to be." she said, looking down at her ring. She looked back up at Gaby. "Thanks. I'm nervous and excited." she said, happily. It's amazing what talking to a couple of good friends can do.

Andrea got tired of her lonely dancing. She came back to the bar and stumbled a bit. Maybe she was drunk? She had a few beers. Hopefully not. She sat down and watched couples danced.

"Oh great. Tell me, I'm dying to know," she said in a flat, sarcastic voice. May seemed to be in an off mood. Compared to the usually happy, spunky one she was sarcastic and bitter. Her eyes set on David's face which she wasn't sure would freak him out or not.

He smiled and gathered the breath to tell May about the little mishap between him and his father. "Well, itwas sometime during the summer. There was tension between me and my father already, but I refused to go and apprentice him a a butcher. Family business. So he went overboard and practically disowned me. I told them all I was moving to America. This of course broke my mother's heart, not to mention my sisters', but my father even helped pay for expenses, glad to be rid of me. And now I'm here." he said. Vague but to the point.
