"Your probrably right." Lillian whispered back to Jane before noticing David standing right next to her. "Oh, David, hello. I..didn't know you'd be here." she remarked as Gabriella looked over at Lilly and wondered who the British guy was. She decided to interrupt and introduce herself, "Hello, I'm Gabriella, Lillians best friend, and you are...?" she asked him, finding it rude that Lillian didn't introduce her new friend. "His name is David, I met him at the airport." she told Gaby in a soft tone. "Everyone this is David, David this is...well everyone." she teased as she sipped her martini.

"Hello Lillian. How are you tonight? How is everybody?" he said to them all in his British accent. He waved at everyone. "'Ello Gaby. I'm David. Straight in from London." he told Gaby. Jane waved smally and said, "Hi David. Welcome. I'm Jane." David nodded. "'And Ello Jane." he replied to the blonde girl. He sipped his beer and smiled.

Lillian rolled her eyes, "Okay, good. Now everyone knows everyone and we can continue our nights." she replied in a hurry. Her tone hinted that she was rushing, trying to avoid awkwardness with David and Derek and all. After all she did kiss David back in the airport, so naturally being between two, no three guys including Jack, it was all a big uncomfortable blur.
"Ello, nice to meet you David." Gabriella replied, almost in a teasing way, no meaning to be rude. She meant it in a polite proper greeting way though she feared he didn't quite grasp that. She looked at her shoes.

David caught Lillian's drift. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable, nor did he want to be. He had asked May, and it looked as if someone had already asked Lillian. But he grinned nevertheless at her. The boy turned to Gaby as hse spoke. He chuckled as she said 'Ello.' "I'm glad to be here." he said in a friendly tone. Jane nodded and smiled, sighing. "I'll be back." she said, getting up and going to the bar. She ordered ice cold water and came back.

"Well, yes, now you know everyone and they know you so, wanna dance?" she asked David, as she headed to the dance floor. 'That was close.' she thought to herself.
Gabriella giggled, "Well were glad to have you here." she replied before sipping her beverage.
She looked over to her table and motioned Justin to come over to her.

"Sure Lillian." he said happily, setting down the beer. He smiled and thought, 'Well why not?' He led her out to the dance floor.
Jane meanwhile was just sitting, a bit depressed. Echh. Everything was going wrong. My goodness.

Lillian half smiled as she dragged Derek out to the center of the dance floor so they could blend into the crowd and keep a low profile. As Lillian danced she smiled, I mean really smiled, something she hasn't done in a while. With Derek she usually fake smiled, but now that she was dancing with him, she really smiled. This made her blush.
Gaby meanwhile followed Lillians lead and dragged her fiancee out into the dance floor, right next to Lillian, "Good idea." she told her friend with a wink. Gaby wasn't dumb, she knew why Lillian wanted to dance. Lillian always danced when she wanted to avoid an awkward situation, it was her safe haven.

((Hehe, I think you mean David. You got their names mixed up. =]))
David smiled at Lillian and swayed to the music with her. He had just gotten his little 'dance lesson' from May, so he was good to go in that factor. He chuckled and put his arms gently around her waist. He liked May, but also Lillian, a bit.

Lillian felt relieved, they were in the very center of the crowd, people were dancing all around them. She felt almost invisible, which would usually be bad, but tonight it was good. It really was her safe haven.
Gabriella smiled and continued dancing with Justin until the pregnancy pain got to her. She sighed and escorted Justin back to the table where she caressed her stomach and tried not to get sick. "Well, we knew pregnancy wasn't always going to be so easy." she told him, trying to make the best out of her pain. She looked at him, "You sure you don't want to take a turn carrying our baby?" she teased, wishing men could somehow participate in the whole carrying the baby through pregnancy thing, like seahorses could. "Too bad were not seahorses." she joked.
(FYI: Male seahorses can carry the baby until the mother is ready to birth it.)

David continued ot dance with Lillian. She seemd to just want to get out of a sticky situation. He didn't question though. The song ended soon and he smiled at Lillian. "Very nice to dance with you love, but I'm gonna go mingle now." he said to her.

Suprised by David's rush to get away from her, she nodded and walked off the dancing floor and over to Gaby. "Can you believe he wanted to get away from me? He used the old 'mingle' excuse. How-" she paused, realizing how the tables have turned. She was usually the one trying to get away from someone, and now someone was trying to get away from her. Hmm
Gaby smiled, "Perhaps he was tired? Not everyone can dance as long as you can my friend." she replied, cuddling up towards Justin. She turned her attention from Lillian to Justin "I'm getting tired myself, lets sit down a while babe." she told him.

David went over to Jane and sta down next to her. "'Ello Jane. It's nice to meet you." he said to her. "Thanks. Same here." she replied. "What do you know about that girl Lillian, huh?" he asked her drinking from his beer. "She is a great friend, songwriter, a model, likes to flirt ecetera. Why?" she told him, looking over to her Lillian, her friend. "Nothing. Just wonderin'. Met her a few days ago at the airport, we had dinner and such." he said to Jane. "Really? Hmm." Jane said quietly, thinking about that. If Lillian wasn't careful, she would be in the middle of some sort of dilemma between Jack, David and Derek.
