Sebastian had pressed his forehead against the cool counter top. He was debating on just leaving, but now. He couldn't do that to Julianne. He couldn't get angry at her for having a crush on someone else. After all, he never made a move and she was a pretty teenage girl, it was bound to happen sometime. He hated to admit it, but Baby was right, he'd waited to long and now it was too late. He looked up when he heard her voice and cleared his throat.
"yeah I know." He nodded, going tot he sink and turning the water on, then off, then on again, and off once more. "So... what's his name?" He asked, looking up at her for only a second before looking back down to the faucet that he was turning on and off. He didn't want her to see the hurt in his blue eyes.

Julianne didn't say anything for a few moments as she watched Sebastian looking quite miserable. Taking a deep breath, figuring that it was now or never, she made her way into the kitchen, and took a seat at one of the barstools. Knowing she better say what she had to say before she lost her nerve, Julianne bit down on her bottom lip, hard. It just about killed her seeing Sebastian as hurt as he was, and Julianne just knew that he must have felt something towards her too, or he would'nt have reacted like this. Running a hand through her hair, Julianne tried to think of how she was going to say what she knew she was going to have to. Watching as he turned the water faucet on and off, Julianne focused on something outside the window, and bit down on her lip even harder, to keep the tears from coming.
"Listen... There's something that I should've told you a lot sooner..." Jules said, gulping. Was she insane? Was she really going to do this? Taking a deep breath, Julianne finally decided to get it over with. "I like you, Sebastian. I've liked you since the day we met, and let's face it, what I feel for you is a lot more than just a normal crush," Julianne finally said, avoiding his eyes.

Sebastian looked at her, slightly confused. She couldn't have said what he thought he heard. She was Julianne Lyons. She was pretty and smart and popular and amazing. He was Sebastian Ceccarelli. He was dorky, had a weird family, couldn't go anywhere without his camera... he was a pot head... he didn't deserve her. He knew that more than he knew anything.
"Jules... you don't have to try and make me feel better." he said hoarsely. He stopped playing with the water and cleared his throat. "Really. You told me not to read it. Its my own fault that I... that I was hurt. " he pressed his lips together. Looking down at the counter sadly.

Julianne looked at Sebastian in disbelief, shock, and a mixture of confusion. He honestly didn't believe her. She had just poured her heart out to him, after all of this time, and he didn't believe her. Jules half expected to hear a director call cut, and people in the audience to start laughing. But no, that fate would've been much eaiser than this, or at least in Jules opinion it would've been. Jules opened her mouth, and then closed it, and then repeated that for about ten times before she just stood there, leaning against the counter, watching Sebastian. He looked sad and hurt, and that just about killed Jules. She honestly didn't know what she should do. Should she try to convince him again? No, Julianne thought, half heartedly. He won't believe me no matter what I do... I don't know what else to do... She thought frantically, hoping he wouldn't leave.
Then, it came to her, clear as day.. In a moment of sheer hope, Julianne decided to do what she had been wishing to do for so long. With hope in her big blue eyes, along with a look of tenderness, Julianne walked up to Sebastian, and put her hands on his shoulders. Closing her eyes, she leaned forward and did what she had wanted to do since the day she met him. She leaned forward, falling into Sebastian, letting the palms of her hands hit the counter behind him. She took a deep, ragged breath, and then... She kissed him.

Sebastian sighed, about to tell her he was going to leave, he couldn't stand just syanding there, staring at her. However before he could move she came over falling into him. He instictively reached up to catch her, his eyes widening when her felt her lips on his.
It wasn't a dream, Julianne Lyons was kissing him. Julianne Lyons was kissing him. He kept repeating it running his fingers through her hair. After a moment he pulled away. "wow... so you weren't humoring me." he looked down at her, still a little in shock.

Julianne melted a little inside when he ran his hands through her messy curls. She couldn't help but notice just how soft his lips were, and just how good he smelled... When he pulled away, Jules couldn't help but being just a little disappointed. She was hungry for more. Blushing at his remark, Julianne smiled. "Yeah well... I just thought you would want to know..." She said, biting down on her bottom lip, feeling suddenly shy. Seeing his shocked look, Julianne tilted her head to the left. "What? Is it so hard to believe that the most boring girl on the planet can fall for the cute artist?" She asked rhetorically, shaking her hair out of her eyes. Julianne felt the urge to kiss him again, but thought better of it, figuring that she better just hold her horses, and wait to see what would happen next, no matter how tempting it was to feel Sebastian's lips against her's.
Noticing just how tired she was all of a sudden, she stifled a yawn, thinking of all the craziness of the day. From the paint in the store, to the pool. From the stupid notebook to kissing him in the kitchen, and everything in between. Julianne just couldn't believe just how much had happened in one day. And now that she thought about it? She wouldn't have traded it for anything, glad that everything that had happened actually did happen. Of course, it could all be just a dream, but Jules didn't think she was dreaming. After all, even her dreams weren't this good.

Sebastian cleared his throat. "So... now what?"he asked as she moved closer. He wrapped his arm around her. Her hair was still damp. He wasn't sure if it was from the pool or the rain, but it didn't matter. "If the most boring girl ever falls for me I'll let you know. Though I'd preferr you." he nodded.
He bit his lip, thinking. He was almost afraid of what he wanted to do. As if kissing her would make it all dissapear. He decided to take his chances and carefully lifted her chin, pressing his lips to hers gently. When she didn't vanish in a puff of dream smoke he mentally breathed a sigh of relief.

Julianne just smiled. God, was it even possible that she could like this boy even more than she already did? She certainly hadn't thought so previsouly, but now, who knew. After all, the sky is the limit. Feeling his arms around her made her feel more secure, more sure of who exactly she was. "Me... I'm so glad that it's me," Julianne said, softly, glancing up into his eyes, despite the fact that they were nearly the same height. The whole thing just seemed so perfect do Julianne. The last rays of the sunset fading outside of the French doors, the tingles she felt up and down her spine, the fact that she and Sebastian were this close in proximity, and neither of them was shying away... Everything was just so perfect. And Julianne wouldn't have cared if a clown on a unicylce came through her house at that moment, she was not going to move away from Sebastian now.
When Sebastian lifted her chin, and kissed her gently, Julianne didn't oblodige. Instead, she just kissed him back, leaning into him, so she wouldn't fall over. Wrapping her arms around him, Julianne closed her eyes, letting herself stop thinking about everything for once. For now, all she knew was herself, Sebastian, and the fact that this was amazing. And to her, that was absolute perfection.

Sebastian deepened the kiss, his hands resting on the small of her back. He kept the kiss going for a while, but eventually broke it, clearing his throat. "So... really, who was the song about?" He joked. He hoped this wasn't going to make everything... tense and just not fun. He smiled. "I guess this is kind of a silly question but do you wanna do something sometime... as like... not friends... unless this sentence made you realize what a dork I really am?" He asked.
Of course though, this meant Baby was right, and she was never going to let him hear the end of it. By next week she'd be slipping drawings under his bedroom door of her stomping on his head. He mentally rolled his eyes. He'd tell her later. Right now he just wanted to concentrate on Jules.

Julianne smiled, blushing. "It was about a pair of shoes. Of course it was you, silly," She repiled gently hitting his arm, with a smile. "And if anyone was the true dork out of us two, it would be me. And yeah... We should do something..." Julianne repiled, grinning. "Why? What did you have in mind?" She asked, smirking. She was certain that her thoughts we a little too explict to actually ever happen, but she couldn't help but giggling a little at her freaky mind. "And please, don't ask what I'm thinking about. It would send you running for the hills," She added, shaking her hair out of her eyes, with a grin. Fiddling with the hem of her shirt, she pulled off a loose string, and ran it between her fingers, thinking. The rain was back, but this time a lot lighter. It was more than sprinkling, but not quite fully raining, yet not misty. It was pretty much perfect to go out and take a walk in.
Thinking for a moment, glancing out the window, Julianne got an idea. Turning back to Sebastian, a goofy smile on her face, she decided to act out one of the things she had always wanted to do. Grabbing his wrist, she dragged him back outside, to a part of the backyard that was partially hidden by rose bushes. It was more of a flower garden, but it did work as a nice little secluded romantic area. The rain hit her shoulders, making her blonde curls even more damp than they were before. Her bare feet slapped the cobblestones, getting the bottom of her jeans wet, but she barely noticed it. Julianne fixated herself to where she was in front of Sebastian, and she grabbed his hands and put them on her hips. She then wrapped her arms around his neck, and she began to sway back and forth a bit, hoping he'd catch on.

Sebastian grinned. "I'd argue, but honestly I know it'd be a waste of time, I was thinking maybe we could... I don't know, go skating, see a movie, bungee jump. I don't care." He quirked an eyebrow at her giggling. "you can't say that and not expect me to ask. Come on, what were you thinking about?" He asked, officially curious. "With a family like mine it takes a lot to send me running jules." he nodded, letting her lead him out of the house.
It was still raining, and Sebastian had no idea why they were getting soaked again, but he trusted Jules enough to assume it wasn't a waste of time. It didn't take long for him to understand what she wanted, moving with her. After a bit of dancing he slid his hands back to the small of her back, pulling her a little closer.

"Bungee jump? Isn't that a tad bit dangerous?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at that suggestion. Casting another glance out the raindrop soaked window, she sighed lightly, content. "And you shall never find out what I was thinking. Unless I fall asleep and talk in my sleep... But anyways, trust me. You do not want to know. And I think it'd be enough to send you fleeing," She replied, with a shrug. Shaking the previous thought out of her mind, she ran a strand of her hair through her index and middle finger, something she often did when she was thinking. Biting down on her lower lip again, she cast another glance at Sebastian, as if she looked away for too long, he would disappear in a cloud of dust. Call it silly, but that's just how Julianne's mind worked.
Julianne closed her eyes, letting her feet carry her, hoping she wouldn't step on Sebastian. All this moment needed was that cheesy movie music, but Jules herself thought it was pretty darnit perfect already. "This is... Nice. Perfect," She said, quietly, so that jsut Sebastian could hear, despite the fact that they were all alone. It just seemed more romantic that way. She didn't oblodige when he pulled her closer, and she closed her eyes again, and rested her head on his shoulder. She listened to the light sound of the rain hitting the ground, the sound of birds in the trees somewhere, and just took in the serene quality about this moment. It was one of those moments you would never forget, Julianne was sure. And she didn't want to foget it either.
