Cristina ran down the corridor or JFK High, trying to get to her fourth period gym class before the bell rang. Too bad her locker was on the other side of the school, and she still had to put on her PE uniform. That was going to be yet another tardy, and they were piling up. You would think that the teachers would have a little mercy on the new girl, but no, they gave Cristina more work than the people who had been in Ocean Springs their whole lives!
Cristina swung open the heavy wooden door that led to the gym, and she threw her heavy binder in the bleachers, and ran as fast as she could to the locker room, and she could feel the eyes of everyone on her as the seconds ticked down until the bell rang. Good thing Cristina could change quickly; she must've set a new record for how fast a girl could change in the locker room. She didn't bother putting her stuff in her gym locker, she knew no one would take it, since Cristina was smaller than most of the other girls.
Cristina glanced at a clock overhead, as she put her hair in a ponytail, making her way back to the gym, only ten seconds to go. Speeding it up, she ran back out, and slid to her spot on the floor, just as the bell rang. Panting, she tried to catch her breath, and calm her jumpy nerves, as the teacher droned on about how they were going to play flag football, the girls and the guys split into two teams.
Cristina sprawled out on the cold, hardwood floor, and closed her eyes, and waited for the torture to be over. Too bad it wasn't. "HUDSON! MENDEZ! CAPTIANS!" The teacher screeched, making the rival cousins on oppisite teams. Greaaaat

"Another great day at JFK!"[/b]...yea right! Kirsten had always hated this slogan and everyday when the principal made his welcoming announcement, she was tempted to flip the whole thing off. Of course, then she would get a detention, and then she'd have to hear it from Ava, and so flipping the principal off would be short lived and definitely not worth it. As the school bell rang, Kirsten slouched her way through the halls and into the gym. She could care less about this day and just wanted to be left alone. Her home situation was stressing her out so much, and the last person she wanted to see was the stress inducer herself, Cristina!
Kirsten was not okay with her current living condition at all, and even threatened Ava that she would move out if Cristina was still there when she got home. She also threatened to drive Cristina out of town, in any creative way that crossed her mind, and ultimately, she really wanted to exchange some 'words' with Cristina's step mother. Can you see my emphasis on WORDS? Not nice words...
Once Kirsten had finally made it into Physical Education, she slowly made her way to her locker. Upon opening it , she realized that her gym clothes had somehow become misplaced, and when she asked the teacher about it, she was told to check the 'lost and found' bin. Kirsten angrily and desperately searched the bins, and all she found was her shorts. What about a top? Normally Kirsten would try to get away with wearing the top she wore to school, but on this particular day, her shirt was far too fashionable to be accepted as a gym uniform. Well, it seemed like luck was on her side today. As she walked down the rows looking for a shirt, a shirt in her size was found laying on top of a bench. Not caring who owned the shirt, she casually slipped it on and headed out to the gym. Good luck or bad luck?, you decide!
Barely two seconds later she walked out of the changing room, and heard the coach announce that Cristina and her were to be team captains. "Just as long as I don't have to be on HER team, fine." she replied with a smirk. With a flip of her long hair, she threw it up into a messy bun, and took her place next to Cristina, "You choose first, cuz...", she offered with a chuckle. Who would want to be on HER team?

Cristina's eyes shot daggers at Kristen, after Cristina had seen that Kristen was wearing her shirt. Let's just say that if looks could kill, Kristen would be dead on the floor. "Why the hell are you wearing my shirt, K? Couldn't find anything that was actually worth wearing?" Cristina said, with a short, tanuting laugh, that clearly said Bring it on, bitches, a look that if you knew Cristina, you quickly learned to be afraid of...
Hearing the teacher clear her throat, Cristina rolled her eyes, and picked her first team member, a girl named Yale, who looked like she wanted to be anywhere but the gym, and to be honest, Cristina couldn't blame her, considering that it was more than likely going to be a battelground bewteen her and Kristen, and their... creative differences, to say the least.
Waiting for Kristen to pick her poison, Cristina went over her strategy in her head. Pick good team members, embarass Kristen, win the game, embarass Kristen, get an A for participation, embarass Kristen. Yep, sounded perfect to Cristina, in her own sick little head. But then again, who ever said that they had to play nice? Heh heh.
OOC; OMG so sorry its suckish! But I had tons of homework, and then I had to go to my Mamaws, and technaclly, I'm not supposed to be on the computer, cause it's like dinner, and yeah.

As Kirsten was scanning the crowd for her first recruit, she watched as Cristina picked some poor girl. Ignoring the comment about wearing that shirt, she felt Cristina's eyes pierce right through her as soon as she turned her back. Inside her head she was screaming, all she could think was:"I'm wearing whose shirt?!"[/i She brushed her shoulders off after about five deep cleansing breaths and focused her attention on picking a strong first 'victim'. After a few moments of brain storming, Kirsten picked a girl named Nicole, the tallest and best known athlete of the bunch. For a brief moment, Kirsten almost felt pity for Cristina, coming to a new school and all that jazz, she didn't know who was strong and who was...weak. Fortunately for Kirsten, I did say almost, so no pity was really felt throughout Kirsten's body. Instead, her mind was consumed of the thought that she was going to bury her cousin, in the most embarrassing way the moment would provide her with.
Turning to Cristina, she pretended to be sincere since the coach was watching, "Pick your next victim." she 'sincerely' replied. Just then, the coach was called away for a phone call, now it was ON! "Oh please, don't flatter yourself. If I thought for even one second THIS shirt was YOURS, I would never have came within ten feet of it! In fact, after this period, this shirt is going in the garbage, where it belongs away. It's hideous!", she snarled.
(OOC- Don't be modest, your post was fine. On the contrary, your posts have actually been impressing me a great deal lately. My only negative comment, is that you keep saying Kristen, when in fact her name is KIrsten...but keep up the good work, and thanks for your ongoing loyalty! <3)

Cristina was ready to kill someone by that point. She way beyond mad, and the second the teacher left to take a phone call, she turned to Kirsten, ready to take drastic measures. "Oh yeah? Then why'd you bother putting it on, huh? And if my clothes deserve to be in the garbage, then yours need to be burned in a bonfire, cause their in dire need of someone stylish," Cristina snapped, her eyes turning into narrow slits, with anger clouding in them.
Normally, Cristina was a nice person, really. But when you insulted her in any way, let's just say it usually got much worse than what was going down between her and Kirsten. The (horrible) teacher ducked back into a gym, and said, "You girls better not be doing anything that could get you in ISS." ISS stood for In School Suspension, something Cristina was not unfamiliar with. But of course, Cristina just smiled sweetly and said, "We're not..." Even though anyone with half a brain could tell she was sooo lying.
After the teacher focused back on the phone call, Cristina went back into angry psycho mode, something that took a lot of work to get Cristina acting like. "And besides Kirsten, you poor thing, couldn't you find something better to do with your hair? Like, oh I dunno, making it look nice for once?" Cristina said sweetly, and she could hear the whispers of rumors starting.
