Jane entered the city park, taking a breath of fresh air. It was nice to get out of the apartment. She had been working on some new songs and actually thought they sounded pretty good, compared to the junk she had written a few months ago. Cooped up inside was where she had written the good stuff, not good for the lungs though. Jane smiled and sat down on a park bench. She was waiting for Gaby. Gaby wanted to talk, and Jane wanted to listen, and vice versa of course.
Jane smoothed the skull and rose print tunic that she was wearing and took another deep breath. The sun was shining down on her skinny jeans and blue converse. A pair of over-sized sunglasses shielded her blue eyes from the rays of the bright sun. A perfect summer day, she would have to say.

As Gaby left her house and began walking towards the park where she'd be meeting Jane, she wondered how Jane would take her complicated lifestyle news. She wasn't sure if Jane would understand correctly or even if Jane would be able to relate to it at all. Either way, she needed to talk to someone about her problems, and her household members just weren't enough. Since Gaby could confide in Jane the best out of everyone else in Ocean Springs, she called up Jane and invited her to the park. Now she was on her way to meet her there.
As she approached the park she stopped and took a breath before entering through the gates. She read the 'No dogs allowed' sign and then went in. At arrival she immediatly spotted Jane a short distance away sitting down on a bench waiting for someone. That someone was her, she hoped. She wasn't informed of anyone showing up, so she assumed it was just going to be the two of them. She waved over at Jane so she could clear her 'late' reputation(the one stating that Gaby was usually late for events) as she walked more briskly over to the bench.
About a minute later she was there, and she took a seat next to Jane. "Hey, sorry I'm late." she pardoned. "I'm glad you were available to come, I have lot to tell you." she explained as she placed her purse onto her lap.

Jane looked around, wondering when Gaby was going to show up. Just then, she saw Gaby wave to her and of course Jane waved back. Gaby was walking quickly towards her, at least as quick as a pregnant woman could go. Jane smiled, just for the heck of it and greeted her friend when she arrived. "Hey Gaby. It's really nice to see you again. It's okay if you're late." she said. "I'm ready to listen. As long as you are, because I have some stuff to tell you too." she replied.
There was quite a bit of stuff on Jane's mind. Whether she wanted to date Blake, or marry him, or go to Los Angeles with him, or even move back to her hometown. All the thoughts were jumbled up inside her head. She didn't know what to make of them, so she was glad she had a good friend like Gaby to tell them all to.
