Sirens were heard by many ears as the ambulance escorted them (her and McKenzie) out of the ambulance. "Hold this on her head ma'am" a medic instructed Gaby as she handed her a large ice pack. McKenzie had a fever of 103.6, waay to high for even an adult, let alone a one year old. She was admitted immediatly into an ifant care unit where she watched as the doctors examined McKenzie, trying to figure out what triggered this high temperature outburst in the first place. All Gabriella could do was sit there and wait and pray her daughter a speedy recovery. She was glad Nika had agreed to come with her, Gaby's life was way to messy to let her be alone, even for a second. Hence the reason why Lillain was now living with her, to help her out and get her back into a healthy mental state.

Nika wrapped her arms around Gabby trying to give her some comfort. This was really to much on her mental state right now. First Justin and now this. She remember the first time Jaime had been taken to the hospital and how terrified she had been. Matt hadn't been much better, and it had taken Matt's mother to calm the both of them down. That was the first time they learned that Jaime had asthma. She hoped that McKenzie would be alright. It would break Gabby if anything happened to her.

Gabrielle had heard the news from Gaby, and rushed right to the hospital. She looked everywhere, and couldn't find her. So, she took out her Gold Razr and text messaged her. 'Gaby, where are you? I'm in the hospital, and can't find you, or McKenzie!' She texted in, and waited for a response.

Gaby half smiled when Nika comforted her. "I hope she's alright, I can't bare losing someone else. As it is I think Justin is....is...." she could'nt finish her sentence for she had broken down in tears. "And Erika too." she remarked as she drooped her head in sorrow.

Nika held her and she cried, stroking her hair like she had done in her apartment earlier. "Shh, everything will be alright, you'll see. You can't have so much bad happen to you, without something good happening."

" I used to believe that but I'm not sure I can anymore, so much bad has happened in so short notice." she replied, sitting up to wipe her tears. She hated hospitals, nothing but bad memories. She peered through the glass at McKenzie who was still being worked on by the doctors, she let out a quiet prayer before covering her eyes with her hands. She stood up and trotted down the hall.

Nika followed her. She hated hospitals to. No good had ever happened to her in a hospital. They had found out Jaime had asthma, her grandfather had died of cancer, she had found out her best friend was dead while lieing in a hospital bed, and she had a miscarriage at a hospital. Hopefully, since McKenzie was just an innocent little baby, something good would happen to her there. Nothing deserved to happen to that baby.

As she trotted down the halls a doctor stopped her, she could tell he was taking advantage of her. "I have some bad news, your daughter needs to stay overnight Miss Summers, for some examinations. We ask that her mother stay as well. And since you can't be here alone I volunteered to sleep here with you, that is if it's alright.." he expalined. "Of course since this hospitals so packed we'll be needing to share the same bed, Miss Summers." he explained with wide eyes before scanning her butt moving his eyes toward her torso. "It's Mrs." she replied before walking off angrily.

Gabby spotted Gabriella. " Gaby! " Gabrielle said loudly. She couldn't scream it because she was in a hospital. She walked over to her. " Is McKenzie alright? " Gabby asked in fright. He hopped she was well enough to go home this night.

Erika looked around for Gaby. She had heard the news about MeKezie and rushed out of Justin's room to find her. She looked in all the halls. Erika sighed and walked to the front office. She asked them if Mrs. Summers was in. The lady nodded and pionted down the hall. Erika walked in that direction.

"Of course I am going to, I am not leaving McKenzie alone." Gabriella told Nika before hugging Gabby, "I..don't know yet, their keeping us for the night." she explained before hearing footsteps behind them. She thought it was the sleazy intern again, "Look, I'm a married-" she paused, noticing it was Erika. She was shocked, speecheless for an entire minute. "ERIKA!" she greeted, hugging her like at any moment Erika would be gone. "Your here? But...how? I thought..." she began, wondering about Justin. "Wheres..." she couldn't find the words, she was too happy,

Nika just stood back and watched the reunion. She had told Gaby something good was bound to happen, and something did. She didn't know if she could stay the night with Gaby, Matt might burn the apartment down or something, so she hoped Ericka could stay with her. She didn't want Gaby to be alone.

Erika was wondering through the halls and turned around to check where the heck she was. All of a suden she was attacked with a hug. She turned around and saw Gaby's face red and fresh teared. Erika hugged her and said," Gaby, I wasn't hurt at all. Just a few scrapes and bruises. I came back to OS with Justin. Justin now that I bring him up isn't-." She said. She searched for the words to use." Justin is in this hoispital. I don't know how to say it but. He hasn't shown movement for 3 days. He has a weak pulse. The doctorsa don't know what to think." Erika was now cryign. Not all of saddness but of happyness and joy.
