Jane Needs Some Money

After seeing that message on the Ocean Springs bulletin board about Gaby needing some help babysitting, Jane thought that she would take her up on the job. Heck, she loved kids, needed money for her and Blake, as they were engaged, and wouldn't mind helping Gaby. The eighteen year old pulled out her pink RAZR and looked down at the number she had scribbled down on a piece of random paper. '555-668-2438' she dialed into the phone. The line rung and rung until Jane picked up the answering machine. Gaby's voice came on and told her to leave a message after the beep. "Beeeepppp."

"Heyy Gaby. This is Jane Cadwell. I'm calling about the bulletin board message you put up. I have lots of free time and need some money, and am willing to babysit for you. Plus McKayla and McKenzie are just so darn cute. But anyway, I'm great with kids and stuff. So when you get this message, please call me back at 555-265-4742. Thanks!" she said to the answering machine. The girl kicked back on the couch in Blake's (well, now her and Blake's little place) after hanging up the phone, satisfied with her message.

Gabriella had just put the twins down for a nap, so she decided to take advantage of her free time and call some friends. Just as she was about to dial Nika's number a message telling her she had one new voicemail appeared. She hit the speedial button for her voicemail and heard Janes voice. Relieved and very happy she called Jane back, dialing '555-265-4742' and waiting for to leave a message. Jane's voice came on the answering machine so Gaby left this message:
"Hey Jane, it's Gaby. I am calling in response to the message you left me earlier about taking me up on my babysitting offer. I'd be more than happy to hire you to watch the twins for me. Your a great friend to Lillian and I and you have such a way with my twins, they absolutelty adore you. If available, the first day I'll need you in Feb. 2nd, Justin and I have plans for a pre- wedding date, were gonna finally set the date that night. So anyway, thank you so much for responding to my bulletin and I'll see you around. " Satisfied with her message, Gaby hung up the phone.

Jane pulled out her cell phone later that day, and turned it on. It beeped, the beep for a new voicemail. She listened to Gaby's message, relieved that the spot hadn't been filled yet. Jotting down the date Feb. 2nd on a paper napkin, she dialed Gaby's number back. Getting the voicemail once again she left a message.

"Heyy Gaby. This is Jane, I just got your message. Thanks for calling me back. I am available on February 2nd. No plans. So call me back to set the specifics. i would be more than happy to babysit for the girls. Bye!" she said. Shorter, but it got the point across. Happy with her new job and confident that she would do a good job, the girl got up and grabbed an orange soda out of the fridge.

Gaby had been sick the past two days, she probrably picked up Jane's 'flu'. She listened to Janes message and coughed as she called her back. As usual she got the voicemail and left a message.
