To apply the new avatar you first must select your desired one and then go to the URL spot underneath it and insert [ i m g ] before it and [ / i m g ] after it. (Without the spaces)
To add a picture to a post or to your profile you do the same thing. I reccomend using google images, because all you have to do is find the pic you want and click it and enlarge it and right click on it and select "properties", copy the URL and paste it in the post. Then you do the [ i m g ] thing and tada!
