Summer Love. Who hasn't had it... or at least hoped for it? We've all had short, summer romances, one night stands, and flings. All are possible in Fate, and so much more.
Fate, North Carolina. That's where our story takes place. It's a relatively small town nestled on the Carolina coast and pretty much ignored until summertime rolls around. The people of Fate despise the tourists. But, the people are usually realtively friendly.
The town has it's name for a reason. It's founder, Thomas Cromwell, claimed that the land the town sat on was lucky. It has a bad habit of bringing people that were meant to be together, or making the people know exactly what road to take.
Maybe it's the name that attracts the tourists in the summer, or maybe it's the stories. Whatever it is, it brings them all annually. There are even those that have loved it so much that they've decided to settle down there permantly. One thing's for sure, though, and that's that this town has a certain something that brings people together... whether they like it or not.
The summer has just begun, and everyone is feeling the new warmth coming from the ocean. Romance is in the air. Old ones are growing, and new ones are sparking. Will your's last?... Or will it just be another summer fling?
