Cravin' some Chicken'

Lillian didnt have the stroller today since she's been having some back pains ever since she bought the stroller. I need to buy a stroller thats higher up for my tall legs. So anyway, today she carried Kylie in on her side, with Hailey dragging behind her holding her free hand. The fragrance of the fried chicken was overbearing. It smelled so good and she was so hungry. "Hailey hunny, what do you want from here? Chicken nuggets? A chicken leg?" she asked her toddler. "I told you, I want a taco!" she complained. Lillian smiled uneasily. "Sweetie, were at a chicken place, were not at Taco Bell" she explained in a calm, yet angered tone. "But I-want.." Lillian stopped her. "You cant have a taco, so either you choose from what I just said, or you'll eat heated up pizza at home!" she warned her. Hailey dropped her head and mummered "Chiken leg" to her mother. With that they got into the short line and ordered a 10 pc bucket of Chicken Legs, some mac and cheese, and a container of mashed potatoes. For here or to go? the cashier asked. "For here" Lillian replied after pondering the thought a minute. She was handed her tray so she put Kylie down on her child leash so she wouldnt run off, and with Hailey following behind them, she grabbed a table and sat down. "Dig in" she told Hailey as she placed Kylie down on her lap, since she didnt see any highchairs.

Nika was at KfC getting food for her and Jaime. Jackie was still to young to enjoy the pleasures of KFC, but her and Jaime weren't. They were going to happily get some original style cripsy chicken, wedge fries, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Jackie was asleep in the stoller, and Jaime seemed to be on a sugar rush he was bouncing so much. She had just ordered they're food when she heard Jaime call out loudly, grabbing the attention of everyone in kFC, "Mommy look, it's Hailey."

As Lillian ate a chicken leg she heard some random little boy called out her daughters name. "Must be another Hailey" she thought aloud. She went to turn to Hailey to tell her, but next thing she knew Hailey was gone. She had a brief moment of panic before she spotted Hailey over by a little boy. She stood up with Kylie and walked over to her. Standing with the little boy was his mother, who she figured was about her age. "Hailey, you know better than to go running off" she scolded her. "mommy, this jamie, me friend" Hailey replied. "Nonsense, you've never met him before." Lillian explained. "Yea me did, yeterday with Gaby" she remarked. Lillian sighed and grabbed hold of Haileys hand. "Do I have to buy a kiddie leash for you too?" she hypothetically asked, though for a moment considered it.

Nika was shocked when the little girl they had met yesterday at six flags practically flung herself at her little boy, and was just coming out of her shock when Hailey's mother was talking about leashes. "Actually we did meet your little girl yesterday, at six flags, i'm Gabby's friend Nika, you must be Lillian."

Shocked, and a bit embarassed Lillian introduced herself. "My apologies, I didnt know, Yes I am Lillian, Lilly for short. Gaby will be meeting us here, would you like to sit with us, we have room for two more" she suggested/asked. Lillian was embarassed, she had thought that her daughter had run over to strangers, which was not acceptable. But it turns out Hailey really did know them.

Gaby walked in the door with two baby carriers in her arms. She was having the same back aches as Lillian so she decided to leave the stroller at home, not realizing at the time that carrying two baby carriers also wouldnt be pleasant on her back. As soon as she got through the doors she noticed Lillian, and Nika. She motioned to them that she'd be there in a second. She headed towards them. "Wheres our table?" she asked Lillian, out of breath from carrying the twins. It took a lot of energy. Then she gretted Nika. "Hey, fancy meeting you here, this is Lillian by the way...of course you probrably knew that. Im going to go get some chicken, watch the kids?" she said as she jumped into line.

Nika smiled at Lillian, "Thanks, there actually doesn't look like this is anywhere else to sit here," she said and she and Jaime sat down. He and the little girl were looking at each other shyly from across the table. Nika waved to Gabby when she came in.

Lillain walked Hailey over to the table and took her seat again with Kylie on her lap. "You dont see any highcahirs do you?" she asked Lillian, as Gaby waited in line to order her food. The line had grown significantly since Lillian first walked in. Normal. "So, how'd you meet Gabs?" she asked Nika out of curiousity. Hailey waved at Jaime and smiled at him cheesily. Gaby laughed as she watched the two again from the line. Lillian wondered how Hailey and Jaime met at Six Flags, and why was she flirting with him? She was too young. Lillian didnt see the cuteness in the two kids actions, instead she was worried. Gaby saw the look of cluelessness on Lillians face and gave her a "chill out" look.

"Well I originally met Gabby in the mall a few weeks ago. Yesterday I met her after standing in a very long at six flags when my son decided to run out of the line and I bumped into her." Nika told Lillian watching the two kids.

Jack walked into the KFC boredly. He only wanted a snack so her got himself in line, planning on only really getting mashed potatoes. He wore a dark blue baseball cap, light blue t-shirt with a black long sleeve shirt underneath. And the oh-so original jeans. Jack yawned, he still had a minor case of jetlag.

Gaby was next in line, she ordered a chicken breast, two medium cokes, and some wedge fries. She was handed the bag and Lillian came over to help her carry the drinks. As Lillian walked her long brunette hair swayed with her graceful movement. She spotted Jack and flashed a smile at him. Then she walked back over to her table with Gaby and played with Hailey. Her and Gaby were both naturals when it came to mothering, despite their young age.

Jack saw Lilly and smiled back nicely. He stepped up to the cashier and place his small order of mashed potatos, and decided to go with a coke too. He took his food and walked past Lilly's and Gaby's table. He looked at the children and wondered how old the two really were? Or were they their younger siblings? Jack wasn't sure and just sat down and began to eat his food not trying to bother with the thought.

Lilly watched Jack past them, she flashed him a coy smile. "Whose that?" Lillian whispered to Gaby. "Not sure" she replied. "I thought you liked Lexx" Gaby kidded. "I do, well I did. I dont know, he's sending me mixed signals" she explained. Hailey finished her chiken leg and grabbed another, but since she was only three, she knocked over the bucket of chicken which chain reactioned in the spilling of their coke. Gaby stood up to get napkins. Lillian tried to stop the spill from dripping on the floor. Kylie cried because some of the coke got on her, as well as Gabys lap. Lillian picked up Kylie and placed her on her side while she began cleaning up the mess.

Jack grabbed some napkins and ambled over to Lilly and Gaby, "I brought reinforcements," he said holding the stack and smiled kindly.

Lillian smiled at Jacks kindness. How a guy handles himself in front of a lady(or in this case ladies) tells a lot about his personally, and she was liking his personality about now. She smiled coyly at him and said "Thanks." Gaby came back to the table with a stack of napkins and thanked Jack as well. "We appreciate it" she told him. She winked at Lillian who kicked her leg under the table. Hailey began wiping up the mess with good intentions, but instead of using a napkin, she used her shirt. Lillian laughed and sighed at the sight of her daughters "help." "Thanks hun" she said with a sigh, "but now we gotta clean you up too silly goose" she played. Kylie squirmed out of Lillians arms and sat on the ground, watching the adults. McKenzie and McKayla were asleep in their carriers.
