Maddison headed into the animal shelter looking around, she had read on a board at her school that they where in need of help with the pets and that was why she was their today. Maddison handed her slip to the lady and she handed her some papers to fill out. Maddison filled them out as quickly as she could and handed it back to the lady who gave her a list of things to do for the animals, Maddison quickly went to work.

Michael was in one of the doggy play pens pooring some food into bowls and getting more water for some of the dogs.A small collie pup was pawing at his leg and chewing on his pants as he was trying to work."You're a little rascal you know that" he said laughing picking up the dog and scratching it behind it's ear.He loved the animals and he enjoyed helping out at the shelters.The dog started biting and trying to eat his hair."Woah hey that's not edible".

Maddison noticed him and laughed "he probibly thinks it's his dog food" she said opening a kneel and put some dog food in their for the small puppy. She was actually a bit shocked to see somone else their.

Michael laughed and put the puppy down."Probably" he said."There you go,go eat the food not me.If you eat me you'll have no one to pick on". The puppy barked and ran over and began to eat his food."So what's your name I don't think Iv'e ever seen you here before" he asked smiling at her.

Sammy laughed "awe but then they'd have me to pick on" she said teasing back "I'm Maddison" she said "I just started today because well I just moved here today" she said with a small laugh.

Maddison smiled "well that's cool I sorta figured I would though" she said laughing alittle as she played with the puppy she had out for a bit "so how long have you lived here?" she asked.

"Well my parents and I moved here when I was 15 so I'd say iv'e lived here for about 4 years now"."And I finally got my own place a few months ago".He knelt down started to pet one dog that layed on the floor. "We moved here to get away form the city life my parents and I are kinda like activists and we love nature and stuff.We really didn't like the city you can kinda say we're hippies" he said giving a small laugh.

Madison laughed "I don't mind" she said "if that's your deffinishion of a hippy then I guess I am one too" she said laughing a bit "I'm an active envornmentalist I started an anti fur rage at one of my old schools" she said laughing a bit "it got me expelled" she added.

"Nice". "Iv'e done so much stuff in the past I can barely remember". "My parents and I are involved in so many clubs, one was a club started back in New York to help save this nice part of forest with healthy trees,plants, and animals". 'The city was thinking about demolishing it to put in a bank and a few stores"."We stopped it all and saved the place, we were so happy that day" he said smiling.

Maddison smiled "awe I'm a bit jelious my parents hate it"she said "aspechaly my veitarian habbits" she said with a small grin "they always say my vegie bergers cost too much" she said "when my dad can spent 100 bucks on a firken peice of dead animal skin he calls leather" seh said and shuddered "I hate to think about it" she said hugging the puppy close.

"Your parents are evil" he said shaking his head. "I know how can people harm animals just so they can have food and make purses and clothing out of them". "I think it's wrong to hunt them too don't they ever stop to think that the animals have feelings".

Maddison nodded "exactly" she said "I respect somone if they eat them but if they wear them they just lose respect from me" she said "I mean let the animal have some dignity" she said as she stroaked the puppy's fur.

"That's why I'm in PETA I get to throw red paint on people" he said with a smirk.The dog rolled over and he started to scratch the dogs belly."Awww you like that don't you" he said giving a small laugh and the dog stood up and licked his face.

Maddison laughed "yea me too" she said "other wise it's hard to find artifisal meats" seh said and smirked "I wanted to throw paint at people" she said laughing and she set the dog down and started playing with him he was chasing her hand as she made it go from one place to another.
