May laughed and spun around. "Lip ring or not I /always/ make the party!" she said grabbing his wrist and pulling him to the dance floor. "C'mon!" she said looking at the DJ who began to play. "Dark Blue" by Jack's Mannequin. She liked the song and smiled.

David grinned and of course allowed himself to be pulled out to the dance floor. The song wasn't familiar, but it was good. He moved his body to the beat and smirked, pulling May closer to him.

May smiled at him, she didn't mind. She liked David. "So, how have you liked Ocean Springs so far?" she asked quietly.

"I like it very much so." he replied quietly smiling. He chuckled, very glad to be in Ocean Springs, California, USA. It was great.

[[bleu][Birdy]]

"I haven't lived in Ocean Springs too long. Just a couple of months. I've lived in California all my life. My brother and I moved her. I live with him. I told you about him right?" May let her arms wrap around his neck hoping he wouldn't mind. Sometimes she didn't think of what she was doing and this was slightly one of those times.

"Yeah, I think you mentioned him the other day. Me, England is my place. But I love it here already." he replied. David didn't mind May putting her arms around him. He even put his arms softly against her waist and smiled.

"That's good. We wouldn't want you having a bad time now, hmm?" she giggled a little, "Wait until spring and summer. There's a lot of tourists but it's warm and the ocean is so nice," she said sighing just thinking about it. It never got old, the beaches.

"Oooo. Beaches. You'll have to take me sometime when it warms up." he said, smiling. The beaches here would be beautiful, no doubt, and David couldn't wait. He grinned randomly, but probably for the fact that he was so happy.

May looked at him and fially smiled warmly. "David..." she said quietly and then broke out into a grin, "I just love that accent of yours," she said excitedly and began to laugh.

David laughed too. "I'm not the one with the accent dear, you are!" he joked with her. But he smiled. "Thank you." he said warmly looking down at the girl. He chuckled.

May nodded, "Depedning where you are that would be true," she said in a soft tone. She felt at peace and wished the song wouldn't stop. Although if it did she wouldn't have really notice. "So what possesed you to ask me to this banquet?" she said. May was quite curious, not many guys saw her as someone to go to a place with.

"That is true." David stated. He danced pretty good ever since May had given him those nice dance lessons at Gabby's party. "Well, you are very nice. And different than other girls, but in a good way. Not to mention pretty of course." he replied to May's question.

May laughed, "I'm not pretty persae. Maybe just above average," she said in a quiet tone, "And even though I may be fun...don't expect me to be...girly or defensless. Alot of guys like being the knight in shining armor but it seems like that I'm not a princess they can save."

"You are pretty." he insisted. "Saving a damsel in distress would be too much work for me. So I don't think you have anything to worry about my dear." he joked. But seriously. He liked it when girls fell all over him. But this was different, May wasn't falling all over him, but he liked her. Weird.

As Lillian sat there hoping Jack would show up, she sighed and smiled at her date, Derek. "So, wanna dance my love?" she teased him as she pulled him up, dragging him onto the dance floor with her.

Gaby and Justin were already on the dance floor, Lillian smiled, Gaby kissed her love.
