The Feast has begun

Gabys eyes widened. Neither of them thought Nika would admit it. Especially Gaby, she was almost positive Nika would deny it without further proof. She agreed with why Nika didnt tell Matt, she felt the same way with Justin. She never told him until after she was sure about it, after the doctor confirmed it. She didnt want to get his hopes up either, especially because she knew how much Justin wanted to be a daddy, have a little guy to teach sports too. Gaby wasnt sure if she'd be having another girl, or a boy...although she hoped for a son this time around. Eva felt lower than dirt, rather even lower than low dirt. She felt lower than a dust particle. She had caused a problem, and she was truely sorry, she made a big slip. Eva turned to Hailey. "Babies are gifts from storks" she explained the whole stork lecture, knowing Lillian didnt want her knowing the truth at such a young age. "Im having another baby too" Gaby admitted suddenly. She couldnt keep it bottled up anymore.

May eyes widened, "Wowza, that's news. Do you know if it's a boy or girl?" she asked excitedly. Lexx knew what May was getting onto, his sister loved to name things. He sat quietly not wanting to ask questions, trying to be polite. He began to put a few pieces of turkey on May's plate and some mashed potatoes. May was obviously too absorbed into what was going on to realize that even Lexx could hear her stomach growling. Callie squeezed her fork as she picked through some mashed potatoes. She was a notorious picky eater and the only things on her plate was mashed potatoes, corn, and turkey. Jack looked at her plate and nudged her a bit. He always had complained about how little she ate. But Callie couldn't help it, her tongue was very sensitive to different textures. Jack on the other hand, had turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce, carrots, corn, and sweet potatoes. He ate quietly not wanting to be rude to Gaby and Nika by asking anything.

Nathalie walks in in her "thanksgiving outfit" she grabs herself a plate and sits down to eat. She feels a bit awkwark because she is still new and doesnot know many people but she saw Gabby and Nika and thaat made her feel a bit better.

Gaby picked at her plate, not believing she actually announced the news so soon. "Its too soon to tell the gender" she told May, and whoever else was listening. "But I'll let you know as soon as I find out" she continued, before sipping her cider, wishing it was strong wine so she could drink this all away. "And before you ask, yes I did tell Justin...he knows" she remarked, looking straight at May,

Lillian picked at her plate, being discrete like the guys were. She figured that was the safest to do at this point.

May nodded, "Good, good. Are you hoping for a boy or another girl?" she asked taking a bite of her food. Lexx eat a bit of his food and stood up to get May and him a drink. He stood up for awhile, waiting for a break to ask May what she wanted to drink. Jack looked at Gaby and smiled, "Congratulatious," he said. Callie nodded and said "Congrats". She took a sip of her own cider and smiled.

Gaby thanked them when they congradulated her. "The gender really doesnt matter to me, although I am hoping for a son, just for a change." she admitted. "I know Justin doesnt care either, though I'd assume he'd want a little man to throw the ball around with" she remarked, tossing her hair out of her face.

Lillian smiled, glad Gaby wasnt going to be uncomfortable with the subject much longer. The more you talk about something, the more natural it becomes, and the less uncomfortable you become.

May nodded, "That's good." she said smiling and looked at Lexx wondering why he was standing. "Want me to get you something to drink?" he asked her. "Just get me apple juice or something." she said waving her hand around. Lexx rolled his eyes and got her and himself some juice. Neither of them were fond of alcoholic drinks much. Only wine really. Callie looked at May and Lexx, then she went back to eating small bites of her food. Jack ate, looking up every so often.

Gaby sipped her cider, taking advantage of the moment where nobody asked her a further question. She took another helping of mashed potatoes. "Pass the butter please" she asked Callie.

Lillian smiled at Lexx and Jack and twirled her hair to occupy her. "So, anything new with either of you quiet boys?" she asked them jokingly.

Jack looked up at Lilly, "Nothing of too much intrest," he said smiling at her. Lexx shrugged his shoulders and shook his head as he sat back down. He place the juice infront of May who took a sip and set the other next to his plate. "Sure," Callie said passing the butter to Gaby.

Gaby smoothed the butter onto her mashed potatoes. She did so by slicing a square of butter onto her knife and lightly coating the mashed potatoes with it. She stuck her fork into her mashed potatoes and began eating them. They were good. Smooth and warm and delicious and.."Mmm..." Gaby complimented the food.

Lillian giggled. "Surely two boys like yourselves have something of intrest to discuss" she replied, still twirling her hair as she half watched Gaby. She wondered how long it would be until Gaby began stressing about her pregnancy again. With the twins, it took about three months before it really hit her. So how long this time? she wondered.

Lexx had a spoon stuck in his mouth when he looked up at Lilly. He pondered for a little and then then pulled out the spoon. "Well, I was hoping that sometime that May and I could get a gig," he said looking at his sister. She smiled at him and then went back to eating her food.

Jack shrugged, "Not really," he said smiling. He looked at Callie who continued to pick through the mashed potatoes. He sighed and took a sip of his drink, "Just usual stuff." Callie nodded and then finally put a small bit of her food on her fork and tasted it.
