Erika finished after awhle and said," Wow, thanks that was good." She threw her utinsiles away and sighed. She felt full and happy. She looked up at David and smilied.

"No problem Miss Erika." he replied full of happiness. Amazing how one danish can make someone so happy. He grinned and breathed in the warm air of the coffee shop. So peaceful.

David put his hand on his chin, acting like he was very deep in thought. Then he instantly regained his composure. "I have come to this conclusion....Whatever you want!" he said happily looking at Erika.

" I will do whatever you want to do." She said gigling. He was funny,kind, and very cute. She smilied. She looked down she was so skinny excpet for the babies(yay) she was carring.

"Frankly dear, I'm not sure. I've only been here a few days. Most of them spent unpacking into my apartment." he said. "I'm sure you have been here much longer than I have." he added. He was willing to do anything entertaining, to entertain Erika.

" We could go to the Park, the mall..." She said just trowing random ideas out there. "uh... shoe store, I don't care..." she thought of the banquet tonight and how she didn't have anyone to go with.

"I dunno. You may choose my dear." he said, thinking about that cheesy banquet that night. He could go alone, or ask some random girl. With his good looks, any girl would be sure to say yes. He had a tiny rose in his pocket just in case. He could ask Erika, but he did sort of like that girl May. He didn't know.

"It doesn't matter to me. The park sounds good. Or bowling sounds fun. Haven't done that in a while." he said with a friendly smile. As a rush of cold air came in from people opening the door, he zipped his rugged goodwill find of a leather jacket up around his torso closer.

"I'm not sure if I am or not. I'm pretty new and I don't know alot of people." he said truthfully. He saw a girl earlier that day, and knew from unnamed sources that her name was May. He might ask her. It was all so confusing for that British boy. "We'll walk." he stated.

Erika nodded and said," Have you met anyone?" She looked down at the ground and sighed. She deathly wanted to go but 1) no one has asked her and 2) she could handle going to any banquet with anyone but Jacob.
