Lexx was on his own today. May had declared "PJs Day" and refused to change and proceeded to watch many movies and eat junk food. So, he need a change of scenery and decided to head out to the Coffee Beanery, which he'd never been to. Shocker since coffee was like Lexx's drugs. So here he was, waiting in line to get the biggest thing he could get without having cops ask if he was on something. Lexx tapped boredly on his violin case. He'd forgotten it was in his car and didn't want it to warp so her brought it inside where it was nice an toasty. The line was long and he was impatient and began to humm Panic! at the Disco. "These Tables are Numbered..." he could never remeber the entire title. He did know how to play it on the violin but didn't really sound good. Lexx much liked sticking to classical music, folk music, and some other random stuff like songs from Tim Burton movies. He hoped he'd get back to the house in time to watch the collection with his sister before she remebered they had them and found them under his bed to make sure that May wouldn't ruin them.

After having two sleepless nights of her twins crying, kicking, and screaming, Gabriella decided it was time to get something that would put a little pep in her step, or at least keep her awake. She analyzed that coffee would be just the cure, and what better place to get some good quality coffee then a coffee shop? She grabbed the twins and placed them into their double stroller before strolling a few blocks to the Coffee Beanery, her personal favorite coffee shop in town, well, actually just her all time favorite coffee shop ever, besides Starbucks, which was also good. A slight ringing sound from the dangling charms alarmed as she pushed the coffee shop's door open. She leaned against the door so she could squeeze the stroller through the entrance, being careful that the door wouldnt close them in. This took about a total of three minutes, hey its not easy getting a big stroller through a small door entrance. Once they were all in she strolled into the long line that awaited her. She leaned her torso over on the strollers long handle and gave each of the girls a pacifier to occupy them so they would'nt make a scene. She spotted one of her friends, Lexx,, standing a few people ahead of them in line. She waved to him .

Lexx turned to see Gaby and waved back at her with his free hand. He smiled and leaned over towards her, she was a bit farther down the line. "Hey, what do want to get?" he offered so she could get her drink or whatever faster. He knew children weren't the most pleasant things in a long line. He knew he had a some money from his new found job that May was very glad he got. Now that he had something to do, Lexx would stop monitering her.

Allison smiled at Lexx's kindness. He offered to buy her some coffee, which was very nice, but she couldn't bring herself to accept money from others when she had so much in her bank account thanks to inheritance from her grandmother. "I am going to get an Apple Cider Latte, but really, you don't have to pay for it, I'm fine financially. Thanks anyway." she replied to him, with a sincere smile. It really was nice of him to offer, but she just didn't like accepting money from other people. Even if she was poor, she still wouldn't accept it.

Erika entered the coffee store hand-in-hand with jake. She got in line and noticed who was infront of her. " Gaby is that you?" She asked shyly. jake coughed and asked," What are going to get?" Erika looked at him and said," Carmel mockeino with wipped creram please?" Jake laughed and said," I'll wip you r cream!" He playfully kisse dher on the cheek. She laughed and smilied looking into his deep eyes.

Lexx shook his head, "No, it's alright. I actually wanted to ask you a favor," he said stepping up to the cashier. "I want the biggest cup of hazelnut coffee you've ever made and an apple cider latter," he glanced over at the twins which he wasn't sure if they could eat solids. "And...a blueberry muffin," he decided pulling a twenty dollar bill out of his wallet and handed it to the barista behind the counter who gave him change and started to make their drinks. Lexx stepped out of line and motioned for Gaby to follow him to a table.

Gabriella looked over the menu at all the choices just to make sure nothing else appelaed to her. Of course everything looked just scrumptious, but on this particular day she was cracving an Apple Cider Latte, so now she was sure thats what she would be getting. As Gaby stood in there in line staring at the menu she heard a familair voice come up from behind her. "Erika!" she replied as she turned around and hugged her future sister-in-law. "And Jake, nice to see you again too!" she greeted him. "How are you guys?" she asked him as she pushed the stroller up a bit in the slowly moving line.

Gaby then heard Lexx order her latte, "You really didn't have to..." she told him as she strolled up to him, potioning Erika to hold on for a second. "But thank you." she continued as she pushed the stroller after him, parking it at a small table where Lexx was sitting. "Whatcha need?" she asked him, referring to the 'favor' statement he told her. McKenzie pacifier fell out so she placed it back into the babys mouth before McKenzie had a fuss to complain about it. She knew if she haden't caught that, then she'd have two fussy babies on her hands because when one cries. so does the other. Got to love chain reactions...

Lexx sat quietly and saw Erika and another fellow. He slouched a bit in his chair not exactly sure what to do. He really didn't know those people, technically he really didn't know Gaby either but he knew he could trust her. That's why he wanted to ask for a favor. Lexx sat fidgetting, his violin on the table. He tapped a random tune on it with his fingers while looking around. Lexx turned and smiled at Gaby, "Oh yes. You see I have a job now, at the Pink Panther. But anyway, I just wanted to ask if you'd check on May once in awhile when I'm workin," he asked awkwardly. He stared down at his hands while talking. He didn't like asking for other people's help which made him uneasy.

Erika laughed and said," We are fin thanks, we are having our wedding on the 14th of march." Jake laughed and said," Oh i thought it was Jan. 14?" Oh wel...." Erika said Laughing. " How are you gaby?" Jake asked moving a step forward. he grabbed Erikas hand and smilied at her.

Gabriella sat in the chair, playing with her babies until Lexx talked. She was a bit startled by the pause in between his favor. She turned her attention to him and once he was done speaking she smiled at him. "Of course I can keep an eye on May, I'll occupy her by inviting her to come places with me. But I must ask...May is how old?*sarcastic* and still you need to watch her? Could I ask whats wrong with her?" she asked him sincerely, sipping her latte after she replied. Mmm...Apple Cider Lattes sure were good. They tasted just like a drinkable Apple Pie...not even kidding.

Erika and jake saw that they were busy so they got there drinks and sat at a far table. They laughed, talked, and drankl there latte and mockienos together.

Lexx moved his finger around the rim of his coffee lid. "Well. You see, May's got a genetic disorder. I didn't get it because I'm technically only May's half-brother," he said swallowing hard. "She's got albinism, you know, she's albino," Lexx said finally looking up at Gaby with a weak smile, "May can't stay in the sunlight alot because she's got senestive skin. She dyes her hair and wears contacts I'm surprised no one's said anything about her extremely pale skin..." he said his voice getting quieter. "She's headstrong and won't do what I say if I'm not there so I need you to make sure she doesn't go chasing butterflies," he spoke in a sarcastic way giving a nice smile before taking a long sip of his warm coffee.

Gabriella sipped her latte while she listened to him. She felt bad, she was Mays friend and she didn't know about her genetic disorder, some friend she was, she should have asked May...she felt guilty about that much. 'She's albino? Well then I certainly cannot take her to the beach, so we will go somewhere indoors', she told herself."She's albino? I am sorry to hear that but I assure you she will be in good hands.", Gaby replied with yet another sincere smile, but this smile was even more sincere, it was heartfelt. When Lexx took a long sip of his coffee, she did the same, avoiding awkawardness. Gaby began relaizing that May really did have pale skin, she just figured that was her skin tone, she never realized or dreamed that it was a problem.

Lexx put his coffee down. "May is actually sensitive about it and so please just act like you don't know," he said staring at his hands on his coffee and then looked up at Gaby, sighing and then smiling. "Thank you," he said feeling like the rocks in his stomach had been surgically removed quickly and painless. "I'm sorry to throw this burden on you..." he mumbled looking down at the violin case.
