Coco's parents were making her do a sport at the country club. And the only one that had a spot ope was golf. And Coco hated golf. Currently, she was in the womens' locker room, staring at her reflection. Tugging at her khaki mini skirt she glanced herself over. She had the country club's crisp white polo, the cut khaki mini, new, cream colored gym shoes, clean white socks, and her long hair had been straightened and she had a stretchy headband holding her bangs back. She looked utterly preppy.
Walking out of the locker room, and into the commons, she glanced around, quickly. This country club was even nicer than the one back in New Jersey she took swimming lessons at. She fast-walked to the door leading to the golf course.
Once outside, she took a deep breath of the crisp, clean air. It was mid-morning and still slightly foggy, and the grass still shined with dew. Suddenly, a voice called out, "Why hello there! You must be Coco! I'm Marc, your instructor." Coco glanced at the man, startled. "Hey." She replied. "Let's get started, shall we?" Marc said, handing Coco a gold club. Coco grinned, and took a random swing in the air.

Although Ava didn't have any money, her sister Kirsten sure did. This was because unlike Ava, Kirsten still talked to her parents, so Kirsten was still connected to the family fortune. Kirsten arrived at the country club right around lunch time, so she could eat something other than Ava's peanut butter and banana sandwiches. She was getting so tired of them. She wondered why Ava made them so much, why not ham and cheese once in a while for crying out loud? Well long story short, she went to the country club to enjoy a gourmet meal. It was a wonder why she haden't thought of it sooner, and although she felt bad for lieing to Ava in order to get there, she was very pleased as soon as she saw what was on the menu.
After ordering a nice filet mignon steak for lunch, she sat back and watched all the mediocre golfers try to sink the balls into the holes. Yes that's right, mediocre. Kirsten could so easily show any of them up, seeing as that her parents have been taking her golfing ever since she was old enough to hold their clubs. She started off by mini-golfing, but soon tired of it and began regular golfing since she loved challenges.

Thirty minutes, an almost broken window, and nearly getting whacked in the head with a golf club, Coco was ready to quit. That, and she was starving. Walking to the lunch room, she saw Kristen. "Hey Kristen," Coco said, as she pulled the headband out of her hair, then placed it back.

As Kirsten enjoyed her lunch, some girl walked up to her, "Do I know you?", she questioned as she tried to remember where she might have seen this girl before. Then it dawned on her, she had met this girl at the beach. "Oh wait, yea I do. Coco, right?", she double-checked as a waitor tipped off her glass.

"Uh huh." Coco said, trying not to sound too hurt and offended. She thought back to her favorite song lyrics that always helped when something upset her. Turning to a waiter, she ordered something in French that she didn't understand.

After Kirsten said that out loud, she realized how rude it could have sounded, "Oh my gosh, that was so rude of me. I do apologize, sincerely.", she pleaded with very sorry eyes. She didn't realize how bitchy she sounded sometimes, she made a mental note to watch her word placements from now on. Then she attempted to lighten the mood, "So Coco, what brings you here?", she asked before sipping her pina colata. "

"My parents are making me take golf lessons. And I hate golf. And turns out, I'm really bad at it too. I nearly whacked the instructer in the head, if that tells you anything." Coco said, rolling her eyes.
