It was a very nice Tuesday night. Just right for a mini concert which would be playing at the country club. But before Gray Johnson and his band were to play, a couple others were going to play. He had invited Molly and Kinsley Hepburn, Izzy Moore and Ava Mendez and their daughter. He had on a pair of black jeans and white collard polo and over that was a black hoodie. He had on high top converse which were white, black an silver. He was not nerves at all. But it seemed some of the others in the band were like Ryan and maybe Yale. He was sitting near the back of the place, he had been waiting for his quests to arrive. There was a lot of people already here. He saw people coming in and out from there games of golf and whatever else they were doing.
He smiled and realized he had invited all girls. Gray looked at his phone and then saw in like an hour they would be going on stage. They would be performing like maybe five or six songs. He was sitting on a stool, he had ordered a glass of water to start off with. He may get some drinks later. All the tables up front were rented out to the bands friends and families. He had wrote a song for Ava. He worked hard on it the night before and ran it by the band. They all liked it. He was leaning against the wall, listening to the music. The others in the band were getting ready and backstage. He said he wanted to wait for everyone to arrive. Plus he really wanted to see Ava before he got on stage.
Gray sighed and drank the water in two gulps. He wanted some beer or something but he would wait till after the show. He then heard a loud squeal and a large mass of pink running at him. It was one of his guests. Izzy Moore, his best friend. Well one of the many and he said Hey, thanks for coming. But you are way early. If you don’t mind. he smiled at her. He had told Ava all about her. So she didn’t have to worry when she came in and saw them hanging out. He hadn’t told Izzy or Molly that he had gotten back together. He decided to say it now. He said You will never guess what has happened to me recently. I have gotten back together with Ava Mendez. Plus I have a daughter. he smiled. To bad his sisters couldnt make it, there friends took them to disneylland for a week and a half.
Izzy was pleased to see Gray in such a great mood. He hadn’t been the same since he had gotten back to Ocean Springs. Plus since he had to take care of his two little sisters and what not because of his mother being in the coma. She replied I don’t mind being early. Listening to music is my passion. she smiled and then the good news came. She raised her eye brows and said REALLY? Oh my god. That is so amazingly cool. Is she coming tonight? I think I have met her before. she sat down next to him, she had found a spear stool. She wanted Molly to turn up soon and everyone else she knew.
Gray nodded his head and then he glanced at the time. He sighed and really wanted to see Ava. They had considered before that he moved in for awhile with her to see how it worked out. He still was thinking about it as well as his sisters. He would have to make sure the were extra good around the baby. He said Yea, she is coming tonight with Annabella. Ava and mine daughter. he smiled widely and then ordered a rootbeer. He had time to kill. When girls passed doing flirtous things, he ignored them and drank his drink.
