Lexx was off somewhere so May had been alone for the afternoon. She took her "boom box" and a CD Lexx and her made and went to the park. May slipped the CD in and made sure it was on the setting where only the music played and not the words. Lexx played the violin while May sang and she decided to perform in front of strangers and see the reaction. As the song played she prepared for her part and began.
"Listen as I tell you of these markers they're permanent no taking back what you've done. Don't sit around saying that you've never said it, I already heard once.
Color me red, color me blue, color in my broken heart's bruise. Color me yellow, Color me green, color this soul that screams.
Stop saying you're sorry, the bloods already clodding. You can't wash these marks, your labels become scars.
Color me red, color me blue, color in my broken heart's bruise. Color me yellow, color me green, color this soul that screams.
I tried so hard---! I just can't go forward. Bleeding only burns the scars, so just let me stitch my heart.
Color me--! Up my arms, in and out! Farther, through my spine. Down my neck--! Around my waist--! Color me your thought."
