Eva wondered why she hadent realized that KFC would give them ice. She had a blonde moment. "Yea, I have one younger sister..Lillian, whose Gabys friend, and then I have a baby brother named Tyler who just turned one." she replied, wondering if Tony also knew Gaby. "You do know Gaby right?" she asked him, still balancing on her good leg, leaning on him slightly.

"I've heard of her, Nika's friend right. Matt's met I'm sure. It's good that Nika's has a friend here, she didn't have that many back in New York. I think I've heard of your sister to," he said as they got up to the KFC cashier, "Hi, can we have a bag of ice for her ankle and..." he turned to Eva, "What do you want here?"
Matt idly browsed around the store. He already had the oufit that he was getting for Nika in his hands, the one she had adored in a magazine a few days ago. The shirt was a purple camisole, with a long black skirt. It was gothic looking, but he knew that's what she liked. The only dresses or skirts she would wear were either in mideval style, or gothic. Jaime was looking at the dragon figurines, as he searched around the store for stuff for Nika. This was just her kind of store, called The Pyramid Collection.

"Yea, my sister is Gabys friend too, and sorta Nikas, My sisters not exaclty nice to girls, but boys..thats another story. And I'll have some fried chicken, some mashed potatoes, and some macaroni please, oh and a coke" she told the cashier as she got out her wallet.

Tony noticed Eva getting out her wallet, "Oh you don't have to pay for this, I can do. I'll have the same she's having, but instead of mac and cheese, I want wedge fries," he said to the cashier, "That is, if you'll let me pay," he told Eva.

Eva put away her wallet, deciding to let him be the gentlemen he was. "Thank you" she replied. "Where shall we sit?" she asked him, looking around the food court, not seeing a single unoccupied table. Boy was the mall packed, but of course, it was black friday, so naturally it would be packed, Everyone loved the sales, they just ate em up. She waited for Tony to respond.

"We can sit over there," Tony said, pointing to a bench near the water fountain. It was really the only unoccupied spot in the whole food court. By now, Matt was probably picking up half the store that he was in, he always went a little overboard when it came to Nika, it was sweet.

"Thats fine. I must have missed that one" she told him. She thought the water fountain effect was romantic. "Thanks again" she told him. "For everything." she continued as she sat down in the food court chair and bit her chicken. "so good" she complimented.

Tony loved her enthusaim as she bit into the chicken. The water fountain behind them as they sat on the bench was romantic, and the christmas lights added to it. If it was darker it would have been more romantic. "It was my pleasure."

Eva had been eating her chicken, but when Tony complimented her, she looked up at him and smiled, non teeth showingly, just in case she had chicken stuck in her teeth. "So, is there anything big I should know about you?" she kidded seriously with Tony.

Tony thought, "I'm 19, got three siblings, looking for a relationship, and love kids. I work in a mechanic shop with my brother, and am going to night classes at the college in the next town. I want to be a director. That's really it, no dark secrets," he told her.

The loving kids part was what Eva was waiting for. "Im almost 19, I have no kids but I'm an aunt to two and I love them like my own. I work at law firm, I love animals, I am thinking about letting myself commit to that special person, I dont have any dark secrets either, at least none I can openly think of" she told him. She took his hand. "You know I really like you, but you dont know how hard that is for me. I have commitment problems, Im not easy to love and its hard for me to love as well. I'm not the smartest person, Im certainly no model, and I am still trying to discover who I really am. I like you and it scares me to death. I've never felt this way about someone, but with you it all seems so easy, so whats the catch? I'm falling for someone I've never even met before" she told him, half talking to herself.

Tony smiled, she was insecure, but so was he, "There's no catch. Your beautiful, sweet, you make me laugh, and I think your a very easy person to love." He said, bending down to kiss her on the cheek, smoothing a stray piece of her hair and tucking it behind her ear.

Eva loved all his compliments. "I feel the same way about you"she replied, returning his kiss. "But It scares me" she said, almost in tears as she put her forehead up to his and looked into his eyes. "It scares me" she said again. She wished she could be normal and be okay with relationships, but she wasnt and it felt like she was going to blow it with Tony.

Tony smiled, "It always scares people to get into a relationship. I've never been in one, but I remember when Nika and Matt first started going out. She was so scared Matt was going to hurt her, but Matt was persistant. He knew that he wanted to marry Nika. Now they've got two kids and are getting married. I'm not saying that we wil end up that way if we start a relantionship, but we will never know until we try. I'm scared to," he said.

A tear drizzled down Evas cheek. He always had the right words to say. "I'm willing to try if you are." she replied. She knew how heavy those words were, and she was commited to them for once, whole heartedly. "Lets see what our love has." she told him confidently. She was beginning to realize what Tony and her had was real, really real and intense. "Hopefully we will end up like Matt and Nika" she remarked, looking into his hypnotizing eyes. "I think I love you already" she admitted, which was huge. Never in her life has she said those very heavy words to anyone. It even took her a while to fully love her parents because it seemed just as she truely loved someone they disappeared.
