Jack nodded and pulled out his wallet as the cashier started run the items. The girl who appeared to be chewing some pink gum and had bleach blonde hair that was just like every other teenager. She told him $96 and he handed her an hundred that he hadn't put in the bank yet. "Didn't expect it to be so much," he mumbled.

Gabriella stopped him before he payed the girl, "No, please let me pay for my stuff." she told him, knowing money was tight for him and loose for her. She handed the cashier a one-hundered dollar bill. "Accept my gift?" she asked him with a hopeful smile and twinkling eyes. She glanced down at her babies and then back up at Jack.

Jack shook his head, "No it's on me. Seriously, you helped me get the stuff anway, you're a real help. Sides I'm not finacially challenged at all. I mean, us rockstars are well off," he said winking at his joke. He was a rocker, but not a "rockstar" persae. He mostly opened for big names and did clubs mostly. But he was paid well since he was lead guitarist and vocals. He gave the cashier his hundred and told her to give Gaby back her money.

Gaby smiled, accepting her money back. "Okay, if your sure..." she told him before putting her money back into her purse wallet. "Thanks." she replied, "but you know you didn't have to repay me for helping you, I just guided you, you did the rest. Your a good dad." Gabriella told Jack as she strolled behind Jack, crossing the parking lot. "So, I'll meet you at the parking lot then?" she asked him, realizing she couldn't go in his car because she had her own in the parking lot still.

Jack followed her to her car, "Yeah. Let me just put your stroller in your car though," he said waiting by the trunk so he could load it in and they could head off to the airport to get Fio. He hadn't seen her seen last Christmas and was anxious to see her. He'd usually stay the end of December, before Christmas and leave some days after her birthday. But this time he'd get to spend more time with her which was exciting.

"Okay." she replied as she took the stroller to her car. She opened the trunk and put it in before buckling her twins into their carseat carriers. She shut the door, put the old stroller in the back and then drove over to Jacks car. "I'll meet you there in what? an hour?" she asked him.

Jack thought for a moment, "That sounds about right. Thanks Gaby, and see you there," he said waving goodbye. He put the things in his Jeep then got into the car. He then drove off.
