Leena sat on the couch, she managed to get her parents out of the house so she could host her own birthday party. She had never had a "real" birthday party. Cake and her parents, or on her sixteenth her parents invited her whole class. None of which were her friends. Leena was wearing a green and black mad hatter's hat. The theme of the party? Hats. There was a crown, cat ears, cowboy hat, sombrero, a witch's hat, a colorful jester hat, and even yacht captain's hat. All the decoration had been made of pointed party hats and the cake was a top hat itself. Yes, you could tell Leena had planned the party. She bounced off the couch excitedly. Her invitation were more of flyers, that she put in as many mailboxes she could find.
(Had no idea how to add this but, clothing: Powder blue hoodie with "I Ran Out of Pills" in black letters; jeans ripped at the knees, self ripped, and black and green striped socks.

Gaby got the memo about Leenas party so she ran to the store and bought her a card and inserted a twenty in the card and called that her present to Leena. Afterall, she didnt know Leena all that well, so she didnt know what to get her, so she decided to let Leena pick by using the money provided. Gaby arrived in front of Leenas house and walked up the steps to her porch and knocked twice on her door. I hope someone I know comes here.

Leena launched herself to the door and swung it open. "Hello!! Gabriella, right? Come in!" she said excitedly to her new guest. She stepped to the side to let Gaby inside, "Please take a hat on the table," she said gesturing to the table that had seven different two liters of soda, a stack of cups, and a pile of hats.

"Thank you, and Happy Birthday" Gaby greeted as she walked inside. "Nice place" she stated as she looked around the room. "And I love the decorations" she complimented. Gaby walked over to the couch and placed her purse atop it, sitting down by it. "So, how old are you now?" she asked Leena, she looked to be about Gabys age: 17.

"Thank you!" Leena said picking up a witch's hat and placing it on Gaby's head, "There you go!" she said cheerfully and sat down on the couch. "Make yourself at home."

May had her arms around Lexx's arm, smiling widely. Lexx held a card that had fifteen dollars. May was making her older brother. One, because he had to drive her and two, because May felt it was her duty to help Lexx from being socially deprived. Her eyes wide with exicement, she knocked on the door.

Leena hopped quickly up again opened the door for the siblings, "Hello! May and Lexx, right? Come in! Make yourself at home!" she said holding the door open for the two. They stepped in and Leena closed the door behind them.

Gaby was suprised when Leena placed a hat on her head. She took it off to see what it looked like. Oh its a witchs hat! How cute! She thought to herself. "These hats are so cute, did you make them?" she asked curiously as she put the hat back on her head. She scratched her ankle and shook her head to fix her hair. Thats better. Her stomach gurgled slightly. "Leena, I forgot to mention that I have to run to the babysitters and pick up the twins in a half hour, and then I plan on coming back. Would it be ok if I brought them here with me?" she asked. Her babysitter had a date today and only agreed to watch McKenzie and McKayla until three o' clock, which was about forty minutes from present time.

Leena waved in a gesture like "no problem", "Of course Gabriella, they're a joy to be around. I don't have any baby stuff. And no, I can sew for my life," she said.

Lexx waved to Gaby as May ran to the hats. "Hats!!" she screeched picking up the cat ears placing it on her head. "Meow!! Just like my Halloween costume," she said turning to Lexx. He just rolled his head and walked over to the hats. "Do we have to where a hat?" he asked. Leena nodded and Lexx sighed and picked up the sombrero. When May burst out laughing, he replaced it with the jester hat.

Gaby waved back to Lexx and smiled friendly. "Good, I was making sure, cause I really didnt want to leave them at Lots of Tots Daycare again, I feel so guilty leaving them, plus I just took them there the other day on my day off. I went down the shore and ran into a few friends." she replied with a smile on her face. "So I will go get them and bring them back here with me in about a half hour" she announced, continuing her previous dialogue.

"Sounds wonderful," Leena said smiling nicely.

May trotted over, adjusting her ears, "Tots? Like what, tater tots?" she asked, not really hearing the entire conversation. Lexx scurried to the couch and sat at the end.

Gaby laughed at Mays comment. "No silly, not tater tots..tots as in babies, as in my daughters." she replied. "My names Gabriella, nice to meet you. I am a mother of two 4 month old girls, my twins." she introuduced, noticing she never met May before. She scratched her cheek, it was hot in here.

May nodded, "That's nifty, and we have met before silly!" she said laughing. "Your Halloween party, I was the cat," she said grabbing Lexx's wrist and pulling him up next to her. "You remember Lexx, he's my brother." Lexx sighed, "Unfortunately," he said. Leena smiled and tugged on her hat a bit, "Well, help yourselves to drinks, I'll bring some snacks," she said walking into the other room.

Gabriella tried to remember if she saw May at her party. Was there a cat there? "Oh, oh yes, I remember you now, sorry I have a bad memory" she replied. Just then there was a knock at the door. Lillian had arrived. "Want me to get that?" she asked Lexx.

Lexx shrugged, not really sure how to reply. "Can someone get that?" Leena shouted from the other room. May smiled glad that Gaby remembered her. She walked over and poured herself some Pepsi and took a sip looking at the door. Lexx also watched the door so see who it was.

"I got it!" Gaby shouted back to Leena. She stood up and made her way to the door. When she opened it she was suprised to see Lillain there. Did Lilly even know Leena? "Hey, what are you doing here?" she asked Lilly.

"Isnt there a party here?" Lillian asked Gaby. "Well, yeah but--" Gaby was cut off. Lillian walked inside and placed her purse on a table. "Hi" she greeted Lexx, May, and Callie. "Wheres Leena?" she asked.

"I'm in here!" Leena shouted. Lexx waved to Lilly and so did May. "Hey Lilly!" May said puting her drink on the table. "You have to wear a hat," she said pointing to the pile or hats on the table. She then pointed to Lexx who had a jester's hat on. "No exceptions as you can see," May said laughing a bit. Leena came in with a bowl in a hat shape and a plate of assorted cookies. "Hello," Leena greeted, putting the bowl and plate on the table next to the cups.
