Lexx sat, arms crossed on the couch inside the siblings apartment. He wore a black hoodie with light blue designs going up the sleeves and dark jeans. He glared at his peppy sister who dashed across the room getting ready for the guests. Today was Lexx's 20th Birthday and he wasn't thrilled. Why should he be happy about getting older? His grumpy look paid no damper to the optimistic mood May was in. She wore a hot pink hoodie that served as a dress and matched the highlights in her hair. She also added black tights underneath and black flats with hot pink stars. She danced as she moved about the house, taping last black and white streamer to the wall. The colors of the party were black and white, Lexx's favorite colors. She turned to her brother with a pout on her face, "Can you at least try to be happy when your guests arrive?" Lexx turned away and looked out the window, not answering her.

Gabriella, Lillian, Eva, and their kids were the next to show up at Lexxs party with but one shared large box with red ribbon and silver paper around it. Lillian knocked on Lexx's door twice as she primped her hair. Eva rolled her eyes at her sisters desperate approach, thinking of Tony meanwhile. KNOCK KNOCK.

May "danced" her way to the door and swung it open, "Come in!" she said then noticing the children, knowing that Lexx wouldn't be too comfortable around them. Her facial expressions or anything didn't change at all though. Lexx often told his sister that she could lie through a lie detector. May stepped back pulling door open to them. Lexx leaned forward a bit to see who was at the door.

The three of them and Kylie walked in, Gaby holding the twins and Eva holding her neice Kylie. "Hello, hi, and hey" came from each of their mouths. "Sorry we brought the kids, we could not find a babysitter in time." Gaby told May, and somewhat Lexx, uncertain if he was listening or not. Lillian walked over to Lexx and placed the large present by his feet. "This oughta cheer the birthday up." she told him, pointing to the present. Eva followed Lillian, Kylie still in her arms. She smiled at May, then to Lexx, and whoever else was in the room. "Happy big 20!" she told him.

Lexx moaned falling back on the couch, his head back. May laughed at him, "He's a little touchy about being older. Even though he looks like he's sixteen," she said rolling her eyes at him. "Thanks for coming," she said closing the door behind the crowd. May walked over and picked up the present and put it next to Lexx. He looked down at it and then sat up to see Eva, Gaby, Lilly, and their kids. "Thanks," he said looking at the children and then looking up at them.

Gabriella sat down on the couch by Lexx, with her twins upon her lap. "Hey, you alright? Being twenty is a good thing, why do you fret?" she asked him. Lillian meanwhile had taken Hailey over to the refreshment table and fixed her a plate consisting of chips and pretzels, while Eva pulled some animal crackers out of the diaper bag for Kylie.

Lexx looked over at May who was playing with Haylie at the refresment table. "Just knowing I'm getting older makes me nervous," he said shrugging and looked at the twins. He picked upt the gift and put it into his lap. "I honestly have no idea what's in this," he said touching the ribbon lightly.

Gaby nodded understandedly, "but what is so bad about getting older? I mean, I am almost twenty, we are adults now, we get to raise our own families, have our own place, make our own rules!" she told him excitedly and compasionatly. Lillian nodded, being almost twenty herself. Eva smiled "Heck I am 22 and I love it, I was 20 before, its not that different really." she told him. Kylie happily ate the animal crackers while Hailey enjoyed her doritos, wiping the orange cheese on Lexxs couch. The twins both we let down to the ground, they layed beside eachother giggling. Gaby smiled at them, "you two are such giggle bunnies!" she said playfully to them.

Lexx looked at Haylie who was wiping crumbs onto his couch. "I find something seriously wrong with me that there are only girls at my party so far," he said looking down at the gift in his lap. May rolled her eyes and walked over to her brother and patted him on the head, "Relax Lexx," she said walking out of the room to get some more plates. He watched played with the ribbon with his fingers.

Gabriella smiled, "Don't you know how many guys wish they were surrounded by girls right now?" she kidded to him, patting his back. Lillain smiled at him "Justin is supposed to be coming soon..." she stated, "he's a guy." she continued. Gaby smiled, glad Justin was coming. Eva smiled, "Tony is also supposed to come..." she told Lexx, "he is a boy too." she kidded, making fun of Lillian. Hello? Of course they were boys, how many female Justins ot Tonys do you know? Well, okay, there were some female Tonys, spelled like Toni, but none of whom were in Ocean Springs, at least not yet.

Lexx picked up the present and quickly stood up, "Yeah...uhh, thanks." he said feeling really weird about a bunch of girls around him and children. He sat the gift on the snack table and went into the kitchen to "help May". May pushed him out with a stack of plates in her hands. "Relax," she said quietly to him.
