St.Patrick's Day Festival*

Gabby waved back to Nat as she passed by. Then she turned to back to Lucy, "Well, if you'd like to join us you can. I'm going to go inside now, hopefully I'll see you in there?" she told Lucy. She looked at Lucy's stomach, 'Farther than me, I'd guess.' she silently thought to herself as she walked away from Lucy and into the Irish Cafe. It took but a moment for Gaby to catch a glimpse of Lillian, Eva, Nat, and Robert over at a large table in the corner. She walked through the room and sat down with them. "Hey everyone." she greeted as she took her seat next to the twins stroller.

Meanwhile Lillian was talking to her daughters, helping them color on the kiddie coloring book the resteraunt handed out in occasion for the festival. As she colored she just happened to look up and spotted Derek over by some friends standing by a booth. She smiled at him and motioned him to come sit with them. Derek was a sweet guy, and even though Jack had been her first pick, Derek was growing on her.

Eva on the other hand was chatting with Nathalie. "No, I don't suppose we've met yet. Hi, I'm Eva, Lillian's older sister. Nice to meet you both." she politely replied as she put her hair into a low ponytail. The resteraunt was warm and her neck needed some breeze. "Oh yes, this festival has amazing decorations, and good bread." she continued as she grabbed a roll out of the appetizer basket placed in the middle of their table. "Pass the butter please?" she asked Nathalie, or Robert, whichever was nearest to the basket.

Haylie and Kylie happily colored away in their lephrachaun coloring books. Haylie was trying her best to stay in the lines as she colored a shamrock, while Kylie just scribbled on her pot of gold page. McKenzie and McKayla were now sitting on their mothers lap coloring on some napkins, waiting for their waitress to bring them coloring books like the other two had. "Excuse me, can we get two more coloring books please?" Gaby asked the passing waitress. She nodded and then returned back to the table with the two books to which Gaby set the twins up with.

Kaci just sat in the cafe, glad she was about to finally get some food in her slender stomach. "Gaby, can we please order now?" she complained, not caring that nobody else was anywhere near ready to order. "No, not everyones here yet." Gaby replied, "have some buttered rolls." she told her. Kaci rolled her eyes abnoxiously and grabbed herself a roll. She looked around the table, the only people she really liked there was Lillian and her family, everyone else was not of her intrest. She was not in a happy go lucky mood, she wanted to keep to herself and bug her older sister like she always did. Oh, and play with the kids. She absolutly adored the kids at the table, she always volunteered to babysit them when she was free.

Derek grinned. " Be back ladies. " Derek said, standing up. " Let me guess, Lillian? " Gabby and Diana said in unison, then giggled. Gabby and Diana were very close cousins too, and Gabby was so happy to see her again.

As Derek walked to Lillian's table, he felt like he was walking on clouds. As he passed a couple of tables on his way, it felt like it was taking forever. Finally, he arrived at the table, and sat facing Lillian. " Hello Lillian, Haylie and Kylie. Derek then paused. " I'm sorry for being late. I had to pick my twin, Diana up at the airport, and Gabby, is on crutches, so you know, it's hard. " Derek apologized in all one breath. Then he took a deep breath, and grinned.

Nathalie grabbed the butter and passed it.'

"So who is Gabbs talking too. Any ways have yo aleays lived down here. I moved here maybe late last year. So far its been amazing and a good change for my family. And I met the love of my life"Nat said as she looked over at Rob getting the drinks together. So do you have a family of your own, if you have kids I would be happy to watch them when ever you would like"

Nat noticed the restaraunt was very warm as well, but that was ok to her."O yes the bread is delicious, I have a fetish for bread if i must say, you look like you do as well."

Gabriella easedropped into Lillian and Eva's conversation, still suprised how much nicer Lillian had got since she moved to Ocean Springs, she was like a brand new person. Gaby still needed to adjust to the new Lillian. Well, kind of new. She was still boy crazy, the only difference was that she had gotten kinder to the girls whom she'd usually ignore and back sass.

Meanwhile Lillian watched Derek approach the table. For a slight second it was like her whole world was in slow motion. That and blurry. As she watched him it seemed like forever until he finally reached the table. This was a new feeling for her. She's never liked a guy so much that she saw him in slow motion, as if out of one of those cheesy romance movies. "Hey, your late? I haden't even noticed." she replied, taking his hand and placing it in hers.

Kaci rolled her eyes at Lillian and her supposed boyfriend. It was so pathetic, nobody is really like that, not even her engaged sister and Justin came across like that. Love was stupid and non-exsistent in Kaci's young eyes. She was inexperienced, though she was not a virgin. She had sex for fun, not out of love, with many random okay looking guys. She bit her roll and wallowed in her self pity and boredness.

Eva wondered if Nathalie was serious when she asked if she had any kids. "Me, no way. Do you?" she answered, almost chuckling to herself that someone thought she was a mother. "Yeah, I've lived here as long as Lillian has, since September." she replied, "How about you?" she returned the question as she took a slab of butter from the dish and buttered her steaming roll. "Yeah, I guess I do have a bit of a bread fetish..." she said with a giggle.

Gaby placed McKenzie and McKayla in high chairs, placing their coloring books and crayon packs in front of them so they can entertain themselves, and behave. The waitress came back and asked for their beverage orders, "Coke for me please." Gaby replied.
"Apple Martini for me." Lillian ordered, "Same for me." Eva cut in. "I'll have the same." Kaci replied to which the waitress gave her an odd look. "Kaci, your not old enough to drink!" Gaby scolded. With yet another eye roll Kaci ordered a sprite. "And two apple juices for the girls." Gaby replied, "Same for mine." Lillian finished. Haylie and Kylie smiled when they heard they were getting apple juices, their favorite beverages. McKenzie and McKayla paid no attention to the drinks and continued coloring in their fantasy world they were now consumed into.

"O Im sorry, Hope i didnt affend you, just I thought you might have kids is all"Nat said witha bit of embarrasment."Well Ive been living here I believe since November, so not to much did i move here after you.I really like it here though."

Nat just realized the question Eva asked."O my gosh No I do not have kids, I mean i thught about having them soon but i think im going to wait ntil im at least almost through college, and to make sure this relationship will definitly work out, but yea no kids here."

Derek gave a small laugh. He looked behind him, and to him, it looked like Gabbrielle and Diana were staring right at him. He rolled his eyes at them then he returned his eyes to Lillian. In the background, he could hear his twin, and his cousin laughing. Derek looked down at his hands when they were lpaced with Lillian's. He just smiled. " I'll have a Surly Temple with alcohol. " Derek said to Gabriella.

" I think I should go introduce myself. " Diana said. " You going to come? " She added. " Yup. " Gabbrielle said. Diana helped Gabby onto her crutches as they went to the other table. " Everyone, this is my cousin, and Derek's twin, Diana. " Gabby said as they took seats at the table. " Hi! " Diana said, giving a small wave with a smile. Unlike Derek, Diana was very very very very outgoing.

Gabriella frowned a bit when Diana and Gabby came to the table, she peeked into her wallet and realized she did not have enough for any extra people. 'I hope they don't think I'm paying for them too.' she thought to herself. She smiled at Nathalie, who was getting well acquainted with Eva. "Funny, I don' t recall ever introducing you too and now you guys are seeming to hit it off." she told them as she grabbed another roll from the basket and began buttering it. "Nice to meet you Diana, I'm Gabriella." she greeted.

Lillian smiled back at Derek, "Ooh, alcohol, a true man." she flirted with a wink. Then her attention turned to Gabrielle and Diana, "Nice to meet you." she unwillingly politely replied. Why did Gabrielle come over and interrupt her and Derek's moment? They probrably had to come closer to believe Derek actually had a girlfriend. She turned to Diana, "Hi, I'm Lillian, Derek's girlfriend." she introduced.

Eva smiled, "No, I'm not offended, I just thought it was funny is all. But anyway, I'm suprised someone besides me here isn't a mother. This town seems to be full of young mothers. Take my sister for example." she replied. "And Gabriella of course. I'm glad your not a mother, your so youthful, you look like you have a pretty bright future ahead of you. You don't need kids so soon, what's the rush?" she asked. By the way she was talking you could tell that Eva was not a fan of young mothers, although she loved Lillian and Gaby, they just didn't make such good choices in her opinion. Of course, she'd never tell them unless she happened to get into an argument with them in which she could use that as a comeback or something silly like that.

Kaci grabbed another roll, wondering what was taking the waitress so long. Why haden't she come back and placed their orders? "Does everyone know what their getting?" she asked rather loudly, as to hint to the waitress that she was ready to order.

Kaci's hint worked, for a minute after the waitress returned and asked them what they'd like. "I'll have the shamrock chicken sandwich with ranch and a side of golden fries." Kaci answered. "I'll have the Lephrachaun Meatloaf with a dash of onions." Gaby ordered. "I'll have the Pot O'Gold Cheddar Bacon sandwich, hold the mayo." Lillian then replied. "And I'll have the Chipper Chicken Patty with lettuce." Eva commented.

Haylie looked at her mother and said she wanted some chicken tenders, Kylie told her mother she wanted maceroni and cheese. Lillian placed their order and then Gaby ordered mini pizza's for the twins.

" Girlfriend? " Diana and Gabby said and unsion. " Seriously? " Diana asked, as if it was impossible. Diana just laughed, as Derek sunk, but was happy. " Oh uhm... nice to meet you two. " Diana said, kind of forgetful. Derek was shocked in a way. Was Lillian being serious? Or was she just joking because it was Derek's twin? Derek didn't know, and would probably find out.

" I'll have a cheeseburger and fries. " Derek ordered. " Uhm... right my turn. " Diana said. " Just a burger, no fries. " Diana added. " Chiken Patty. " Gabby said. " Your so anorexic. " Derek told Diana. " Yeah, well... at least I'm not..." Diana tried to think of something. " Fat? " She wasn't sure what to say. " You think I'm fat? Ha. I actually have a six pack. " Derek said, about to lift his shirt to show, but thought not to, because some of the people around would probably not want to see. Diana need to though, well, that's what Derek thought.

" Back to fighting again. " Gabby muttered. If you knew Diana and Derek, they were knwown for fighting. But why wouldn't they? They twins, brother/sister, whatever you want to call them.

Yea i guess you are right. I am young and I have plenty of time I definitly do not need to rush. I think I just thought since everyone else had kids I should do. Wow that sound very stoopid saying that out loud. In this case I should not do what everyone else wants to do."

Robert came back with the drinks and over heard a little part of the conversation."Dont want to do what?"asked Rob"

"O nothing just talking girl talk with Eva, This is Robert by the way" Robert put down the drinks and also got Eva a drink."Well that was nice of you Babe"said Nat."No problem hope you like frozen coffee drinks."Robert said while putting down the Drink in front of Eva.

Justin sat at a table sipping some soda he had gotten from a booth near-by. His eyes fixtaded on the road filled with people and green. His eyes were sad and needed some joy brought to them. He sighed and took a long sip. His green Polo shirt was very neon behind his black jacket his was wearing he also had on black leather pants.

Jane sat down at the table, but didn't feel the need to really talk. Everyone was occupied. It was a big group. She smiled when necessary and such, but felt a bit lonely. Looking out the window, and seeing a happy couple laughing and walking by, she wondered where Blake was. Sighing, when the waitress came for drink orders, Jane ordered a water. Sipping it and listening to the other talk she smiled occasionally. She saw Derek and Gabby come in, and a new girl, evidently Derek's twin. Her name was Diana. She seemed nice. "I'm Jane by the way." she introduced herself. Looking at the menu, Jane decided on the St. Patty's Day BLT. She told the waitress when she came around once more.

Evangeline sat down and did the same as Jane. She smiled at Whit more often though, very glad he was with her this day. When it came time to order, not being able to have alcohol, she ordered a Shirley temple. All the goodness in one little drink. She smiled and ordered the Leif Erikson spinach salad, no dressing. Around all these people put her a little out of place.

Oliver too felt out of the place. He started to get nervous. His hazel eyes shifted from person to person and how happy and cheerful they were. He would never fit in with any of them. Why did he even bother. Seeing Diana walk in, he thought she was a bit cute. But he didn't show it. Wow, could anyone melt his cold heart? Reaching his hand on to the back of his neck, he rubbed it and ordered a water to drink. He didn't feel like eating much, so the second time the waitress came around, he told her he wanted nothing. If he changed his mind, he would scrounge off of Regan's plate. His body hurt and he knew why. Eh, if only he could stop.

Regan looked at Oliver and sighed. It bummed her out that he was like this. He would never fit in. But what he had saw years back was enough to make you want to die anyway. She tried to cheer Oliver up, but there was no helping him today. "You ain't getting anything Mr. Olibear?" she asked him. "Nope." he replied. "Alright. I'll have pizza with everything on it. Except any kind of meat, and or animal product. Besides cheese. Cheese doesn't really count. So yeah." she said to the waitress.

Whit
Whit sat down next to the left of Evan and he put his right arm around the back of her chair. When everybody ordered, he just ordered a simple burger and rootbear, he never did like to have fancy food. It just bothered him for some unknown reason. He was just weird like that, but again, he didn't really have anything to say to anyone. And when the food came, he searched for the ketcup, but found that it was already in someone elses grasp. He just laughed and waited for it.

Lucy
Lu grinned at Gaby, "Sure, why not?" She replied to her asking if she wanted to join them for supper. She was hungry, and not ready to go home yet. When she walked into the store, she saw Whit sitting with Evan, they were adorable! She hadn't seen Whit that happy in sometime, and it made her glad that he was happy. Lu took a glance around the room, no Aiden yet, she sat down at the end of the table. She didn't know anyone around her, so she just ordered a chicken burger, she couldn't stand to eat cow. It was a thing of hers, but chicken was good.

Adam
Adam walked into the cafe, with a small grin as his stomach rumbled. He didn't know the town was having a festival but it didn't bother him that he didn't know about it. He looked around for a place to sit, and found one by the bar. He put his hand to the back of his torn up jeans to find that he didn't have his wallet, "darnit it." He mumbled, and with a glance around the happy room, he headed out. Places like this always depressed him anyway.

As everyone chatted away Gabriella listened in on their conversation, hoping to cut in and find something intresting to talk about. She was especially keen on Derek and Diana's argument, that was a nice source of entertainment. "Twins? Wow Derek, I would have never guessed you were a twin." she remarked before sipping her coke that was just placed in front of her in a cute, shamrock green cup with a bendy straw. 'Bendy straw?' Gaby thought, 'What am I, a kid?' she joked inside her mind. She looked up from her cup and noticed that Lucy had decided to join them. "Oh, Lucy. I'm so glad you joined us. It's on me, so don't worry about it." she informed her.

Meanwhile Lillian was just as shocked as Gaby when she found out Derek was a twin. Even though they were only fraternal, he was still a twin. "Yeah, I didn't know either Derie." she cut in, adding his new found nickname into her sentence. She wondered who Gaby's new friend was, and was that girl pregnant too? This town seemed to be full of young mothers.

Eva on the other hand took her neices into the bathroom to change Kylie and relieve Haylie who really had to use the restroom. "Don't forget to wash your rooms, ugh...hands I mean." she told them, semi- distracted. Truthfully she was thinking about Tony. Where was he? Didn't he come into the cafe with Nika? This thought continued as she washed Haylie wash her hands, "extra soapie." Haylie said proudly. Once Haylie's hands were washed she rinsed her own and then picked Kylie back up from the changing area and returned to the table, Haylie following after. "we back." Haylie announced as Eva placed Kylie back into her high chair nezt to Gaby's twins.

Meanwhile Kaci was coloring with the twins, finding herself as bored as she has ever been. For her Ocean Springs was lacking excitement and kids her own age. In fact, the only person she knew who was her age was Maddy and she sure was not a socialite. Maddy kept to her self, and she didn't really apeal for the wild child inside Kaci. Mckenzie handed Kaci a green crayon, while McKayla handed her a yellow one. "Thanks." Kaci politely told them, enjoying the 'me time' she had with them.

Diana smiled. " Nice to meet you. " She said to Jane. " Derie? " Diana giggled. " I used to call him DereBear if that helps... " Diana commented as she got slugged in the arm by Derek. " Owwwie. " She yelled. " Yeah, well there's more where that comes from. " Derek growled. " Yes, sadly Gaby, I have a twin. " Derek said, getting kicked.

" Can you guys stop?! " Gabby yelled. Derek didn't say anything, he just looked away from his twin, and looked to Lillian. Derie wasn't a bad name. Original... but weird. Diana didn't say anything either.

Gabby moved her crutches over a bit. " Hey, anyone want to sign my cast? " She asked, obviously trying to bring conversation up. " I might have a pen or marker in my purse... " She added, smiling. Gabby was always smiling.

Gabriella smiled, "Unfortunatly? I think being a twin would be cool. Sadly there is just one of me, but I do have two little girls." she replied, kidding at the beginning and then mentioning her twins at the end. Gaby giggled as Derek and Diana fought, although she was beginning to get embarassed since they seemed to be attracting unwanted attention from the surrounding tables.

Lillian just looked at Diana with an almost blank stare. "Derebear is cute too, but it reminds me too much of Oliver here's nickname, so I'm sticking with Derie." she remarked as she sipped her diet pop. "This soda is flat, just the way I like it." she commented to the passing waitress who smiled and shrugged as she walked away with the now empty bread basket. Then she returned back to the table with a fresh bread basket and butter packs.

Eva and Kaci were both coloring with the twins and Kylie, Haylie was now drinking her apple juice.
