Halloween Party!

As Gaby reminisced with Chris and Hayley she saw yet another shadow standing on her front step. She walked over to the door with McKayla in her arms and opened the door. "Hello?"she asked. "Are you here for the party?" she asked the stranger who seemed to be in costume of some short.

"Yes indeed I am!" Leena said merrily, she stuck her hand out to shake Gaby's. "I'm Leena March," she said smiling warmly. "New to the area." Leena wasn't too sure if anyone would actually get her costume but it was something to chuckle to herself about and no one would know why.

"Gabriella, nice to meet you" she said as she balanced McKayla in on arm while she shook Leenas hand with the other. "Come right in, and welcome to Ocean Springs!" she said as she held the door open. Once inside she introduced Leena to Chris and Hayley.

Leena raised a hand to the other two people, "Hello!" she exclaimed and looked at the little child in Gabriella's arms. "And who is this?" she said looking at the baby and then at Gaby. Leena wasn't all too much for taking care of children, but she wouldn't be mean to them, just a little uneasy around them.

"This little bundle of joy is McKayla and her sister is right over there with Hayley" Gabriella began, pointing to Hayley at the appropriate time. "There my daughters" she continued as she ran her hand over McKaylas wisps of hair.

"Lovely," she said looking from Hayley back to Gabriella. "Pure lovely," she said putting her hands on her hips. "Pure lovely" was something Leena said sometimes. Wasn't sure why and wasn't sure when she started using it but she did.

"Thank you" Gabriella replied. "Would you like to hold McKayla?" she asked Leena with a broad smile. Gaby was not at all an over protective mother, like some are. She trusted almost everyone with her kids, even a complete stranger. Dont ask her why though, she's not entirely sure, she's just always trusted people, and she was well liked for that.

"Sure," Leena said outstretching her arms to accept the child. She was a little frightened. Truthfully, Leena had never held a baby before since she had never had a younger sibling and hardly knew any of her younger cousins. Leena didn't notice, but she was holding her breath.

"Great!" Gabriella said as she handed McKayla to Leena. "Thats it, support the head...great, you sure have a way with kids" she complimented.

Leena laughed a bit and looked down at McKayla, "That's surprising," she said not sure if she should of said that or not. Leena was still uneasy, hoping that the baby wouldn't start screaming and crying.

McKayla seemed comfortable in Leenas arms, very..relaxed. "Why would that be suprising?" Gaby asked Leena curiously.

Hayley watched the girl as she came in and all the stuff, noticing she was new. She continued feeding McKenzie, now looking over at Chris and then at the girl who's name was Leena, if she was correct. "Hey, I'm Hayley. Well, you probably already know that but oh well," She said, pushing back some strands of loose red hair away from her face.

Chris watched, looking at Leena's hair. It was incredible, to him at least. "Yeah, I love your hair too. Where'd you get it donee?" He asked, hypnotized by the blue in the Leena's hair.

Leena smiled at Hayley and Chris, "Hey, and I do it myself," she said and turned back to Gaby. "Well, I haven't had much experience with kids. No younger siblings, really I haven't had any contact with children," Leena said thinking it over some then nodding conclusively.

"Could've fooled me" Gaby replied to Leena. "And I too like your hair, its very..unique, but not in a bad way, in a good way,..a very good way" she added with a smile.

"Haha, I worship you. Definatly," Chris joked, just tempted to poke at the blonde. But of course he didn't and instead just went over to the kitchen.

"Yeah, true." Hayley agreed, smiling back.
