Halloween Party!

Ding dong.

Alli pressed on the door bell gently, before taking a step backwards. She gave her costume a quick look before looking up again. Her hair was damp, now looking like a deep chestnut color, as for she had just got out of the shower. She was dressed up as a nurse, the whole white collared dress and all. Simple blush and light eyeliner, Alli blinked, looking back at Kennedi.

Kennedi was dressed up as a Go Go girl, a black and white dress, with white hand gloves and white pointy heeled boots. Nothing but chapstick and heavy eyeliner was worn on her face, as Kennedi's hair was straightened, which took billions of hours. Not really. [;

Next was Jonathon. Yes, he decided to get up and do something, besides sleep or eat. Dressed up in a clown costume, he wore a red afro wig, and the whole clown costume jamerramer. He waited for the door to be answered, 'cause he was freezing.

Lexx stepped to the side, still against the wall but able to see Hayley, Chris, and Leena. He smiled at them.

Leena laughed, "The Penguin! He's a villian of Batman!" she said, "Power Rangers? How did they come into play?"

At the sound of the bell Gaby put her shirt back down from nursing McKenzie, who was now dressed as a little angel, and McKayla a mermaid, and headed for the door once McKenzie was sitting in her playpen with her sister beside her for company. "Coming" she yelled as she made her way for the door. She opened the door and let her friends in. "Hi guys, so glad you made. Lets see, Kennedi your a...Go go girl?, and Alli yours is easy, your a nurse! Oh and Johnathan, Im feeling that clown costume" she said as she held the door open for them all. "Nice to see you all again" she said once they were all inside.

Lexx did a small bow to greet the new comers and smiled nicely. "Hello," he said in his calm tone. While Leena just waved to them quickly smiling and turned back to Chris and Hayley again.

Gaby introduced her guests to the newcomers. "Hey all, this is Kennedi, Johnathan, and Alli" she said, pointing to each of them at the appropriate time.

Lexx nodded, "Wonderful," he said quietly. He didn't know anyone and felt very out of place, cowarding in his corner holding onto his violin like he'd died if he didn't keep it with himself.

Seeing Johnathan in the corner she walked over to him and bent down to his sitting level. "Whats wrong?" Gabriella asked him with a kind smile. "Would you like to hold one of my daughters?" she suggested. Holding babies was a great way to socialize. Slowly, one by one people come up to you and ask about the baby, to which you respond and in doing so make conversation.

Lexx looked at Gabriella, "Oh no, dear. I'd drop her," he said bluntly and a bit sad. He held lifted his violin and plucked the strings, "I would. I almost dropped my sister when she was a child."

Gaby, being the trustful people person she was, simply picked up Mckenzie and placed her in Lexxs lap.

Lexx looked at McKenzie and pretty much froze. "I-I-I really shouldn't," he said staring down at her being more frightened of her than she seemed to be frightened of him. He looked at the angel costume reminding him more of Christmas than of Halloween. Like she belonged on top of a tree in a mall display.

"Lexx, your fine. You wont drop her" Gaby said as she sat next to him on the couch. "Hold her, dont just leave her there" she exclaimed.

Lexx put his violin and bow down and lifted McKenzie, "This really isn't a good idea," he muttered looking at the child and then at Gabriella. "Now what do I do?" he asked. Obviously, even though Lexx had a younger sibling, he still hadn't much experience with children.

"Cuddle her, kiss her, talk to her" Gaby said as her voice faintly disappeared into the kitchen for a baby bottle.

Lexx watched her leave and looked down at the small child and remembered the "This Is Halloween" for some reason. (I couldn't help! xDD) He first began to hum it but shortly found himself singing it to the child. "Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange..." which probably wasn't the wisest thing since she was still a baby and it would probably frighten her.

McKenzie giggled as Lexx sang to her. She reached up to him and tugged on his hair in a playful manner. Gaby quickly peeked into him and watched him sing to McKenzie. (That song is on my laptop b/c my theme from themeworld.com is "This is Halloween" and so it comes with default music and my themes default music is from that soundtrack: Nightmare before Christmas. Good movie too.)
