THE BASIC RULES OF OCEAN SPRINGS:
•JOINING- You have ONE WEEK to post your audition after joining or your account will be deleted.
•Register before you audition- Please make sure that you are registered BEFORE you post your audition. We do not want any guests making audition threads until they make a username. It is easier for us to identify you this way.
• Keep your activity levels high- Here at Ocean Springs we like all of our members to come on at least once a week.That's only 1 day out of the 7 we are given, that's not so bad. The admin's here are very good at checking up on your login dates DAILY so please make sure you've met the requirements. Failure to do so results in your account being WARNED. If you get warned that you will banned for 3 days on 1st offense, 1 week on second offense, and BANNED indefinitely on 3rd offense. We strictly follow the 3 strikes and your out game.
•GOING AWAY?- If you will be absent for any amount of time than you are obligated to post your reason and specific dates on our 'Going Away?' board. Failure to do so will result in the Warning System (as stated above)
•SEMI LITERATE AND UP- Ocean Springs ranges from the semi-lit role players to the advanced role players.
Ocean Springs does not deny you entry just because your new to role playing (aka: semi-lit in most instances., so don't be scared to give it a shot. We just don't want to see this: She smiled and then walked away. NO, NO, NO! Details are key. Try this on for size instead: Gabriella smiled warmly at the helpful stranger as the wind caressed her long brunette hair. "Thank you" she softly remarked to him before she walked on to venture the rest of her day. As long as you follow the rules, your as good as in. However, Ocean Springs does praise the advanced.
•NO OOC FIGHTING- The c-box is a privilege that can easily be taken away if I catch you fighting on it, clear?
•NO POWER PLAYING-- Under no circumstances may you EVER post as someone else's character! Please try not to say what the other players charries(short for character) are doing BEFORE they do it. Simple, no?
• DISPLAY NAMES- Please make sure that your display name (or username) is your character(s) first and last name(s). On the c-box please make sure that one of your characters names are displayed in brackets.
Example: Ocean [Gaby]
• TEENAGE-ADULT CONTENT- This site is rated PG-13. Sexual activities, pregnancies, cussing(not OOC), drug abuse, alcoholics, and etc ARE allowed to be played here. All we ask is that the mature threads have a warning in the topic for our younger players sake.
• SPELLING & GRAMMER- Please use spell check. (It's there for a reason)
•ROLE PLAY IN 3RD PERSON- Please role play in 3rd person mode. Ex: Gabriella walked into the vacant room.
Do not say: Gabriella is walking into a vacant room!
• LIMIT YOUR ONE-LINERS- Lengthy posts are the best post. They are way easier to reply to because it gives you more to work with. Ocean Springs asks that you keep one-liners to a minimum. What's a one-liner you ask? This is a one-liner: She smiled and then walked away.
•CHARACTER TWISTS BOARD- Is only for my most active members. Once you've earned your own board, it can be taken away if your activity level decreases.

♥ After one week it will be re-judged. If it's accepted at that time than you are a member, if it's denied again than you are rejected.
